I had a 1970 Chevy Impala two door. It has Chevy rally wheels, so it looked pretty nice.

Chevy Impala was the ONLY car my dad would ever drive (when he was younger). Countless pics of him hovering over his beloved Impalas. He was always a Chevy man. My first car was a 1979 Monte Carlo. Brown. No I did not choose this. For no teenage girl ever would.

Your Dad should check out the new Impala that came out for 2014. It has the highest rating ever given out by Consumer Reports for a sedan.

My first car was a station wagon ... 1965 Ford Country Squire ... no pictures on file

Did it look better than this one?.....................................

Here's a 65. Pretty damn close.

I guess maybe because I am older now and a bit nostalgic, that is a beautiful piece of machinery to me!. My friend in high school back in the late 70's used to drive a 60's Ford falcon wagon. He used to pick me and my brother up sometimes and take us to school in it. We thought then that it was such a piece of sh*t. I would love to have that wagon now. I am a huge wagon fan anyway.

My first car was a Ford Capri II - V6, just like this one. The first winter led to his downfall, as I crashed the green dream into a lamppost. :(

I had a Matchbox of that very car when I was a kid.

Wow, american cars look so... exotic to me! (And so friggin BIG!!!).

This is my first piece of junk, bought it second hand in 1992. It's a Peugeout 205. One of those chick-magnet cars in the early 90s over ehere. But mine was total wreck. I'll never buy a second hand car ever again.

http://img.gawkerassets.com/img/18naynqdbr476jpg/ku-medium.jpg

I drove a lot my father's car, a trusty and totally un-sexy Fiat Regata

http://imageshack.us/a/img46/663/21regata100.jpg

But my first REAL car was this one, a Ford Fiesta 16V Ghia. Bad-ass-est car I've ever owned. A real batmobile.

http://imganuncios.mitula.net/ford_fiesta_1_6i_16v_cat_3_porte_ghia_pro_98636450413459682.jpg

Got destroyed in a car crash with a granny taking her grandkids to school. The old hag came right out of the parking without looking. I was doubly devastated (no injuries at all, luckily).

It's fun seeing the cars from Europe. We don't see these very often! :ebert:

I love this car from Mr. Bean....

When I was a freshman in college, I had a 1966 Starfire just like this one...but it was a darker red. Same wire wheel hubcaps and everything. I could put on some prodigious smoke shows thanks to the vast amounts of torque created by the 425 cubic inch big block V8. :haz:

1974 Ford LTD, 4 door, saddle bronze, 351 V8 Windsor engine. MF'r roared! Saved my life too once. Had that in the 80's. Bought it from my parents. I loved that car. It continued to enter my dreams off and on.. forever. It hasn't entered any dream for a while, though. No digital pix of it.

I LOVE CARS! From the 2001 GP until current, I'm including both mine and my wife's, since we kind of switch off. I have three right now. Need a truck for the big family. I have my toy. And we have a car that gets good gas mileage because we were going broke filling up the two V8s when gas was $4 per gallon.

I drove something like this quite a bit when I was a teen. It was my parents and it would fly. It floated down the road like as if on air. I had a bad accident in it when I was 18. It totaled the other car and only broke the corner headlight and a small dent on the Ltd. What a tank.........

2010 Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup Edition. Worked to come up with a majority of the cost and my father covered the rest. I've had it for almost three months now and it's just a joy to drive, and one hell of a first car!

No one even comes CLOSE to my boss when it comes to switching out cars. I swear, the man changes cars almost as often as I change underwear. Six months ago he had a brand new 911 to replace LAST year's 911. Now he has a brand new Cayman. I have also seen a Range Rover, a couple of different Lexuses (Lexii??) , and 3 BMWs. Plus the truck.

He is an awesome guy, though. Just loves him some high-performance luxury.

It was amazing! Great in the snow, good gas mileage, awesome for road trips through the Cascades. Then, one fateful night, newly painted only two days earlier, it met a violent end with an Econoline van. T-boned...left front side...totaled. Miraculously, no one was injured.
