Has anyone else been watching the competition? I'm enjoying the show but cannot understand how strangers can let people tattoo them in a competition. Still though, a pretty good show.

Yes. Watched since the beginning and GOD yes the producers must have these people sign waivers out the wazoo to allow themselves to be tattooed by seemingly "with it" artists. How about that guy Clint tonight who just bitches whines and moans, and the dude he did his "disasterpiece" on IS A MIXED MARTIAL ARTS FIGHTER???!!! and argues with the dude! Jesse kicks major ass tho imho

Clint's was SO messed up. I couldn't believe some of those scales on that dragon. Horrible. And some of those tattoos (like Clint's last night) are huge and dark - impossible to cover up or alter. Actually, Sebastian's and Sarah's were also very large and dark last night.

 

Jesse and Steve are my top faves. I hope those two make it to the end. I'd love to see them battle it out to see who wins. Sarah is a mental case.

Sarah is next for sure! and ditto about Jesse and Steve. Jesse NAILED the Japanese traditional tat, way out of his element. I was surprised he was the only one who got it tho *ahem* Steve?

My guess is that Steve will win and Jesse will be runner-up. That would be consistent with the choices made in the first season.

If Jamie hadn't been an ass and let everyone draw on his scrawny ass, he'd still be there. Was hard to tell where his "fox" wolf was going but after the 3rd replay, you get it. Sarah? Just a big OOOPS to cover up, like when she did Dave's "black" guitar. Her pinup girl was hot WTH? Jesse? a mess. But yeah Sarah should have gone home tonight. Tired of the whining. If you wanna go home THAT bad, pack up an leave!

Who knew tattoo artists could be such whiny bitches? The chefs on top chef are more relaxed, and I've always heard that industry is quite competitive.

incredible. So much bitchin and whining from "professional" tattoo artists. Sure the sailor pic may not have been perfect, but man Sebastian did you have to make it worse and then confront Nunez on his critique? Too bad Jesse made the Hispanic grandma black and chubby...he'd probably still be there

I couldn't believe Jesse bombed SO bad! I bet that man is livid. All he talked about was how much he loved his grandmother.

 

Sarah is a massive mental case. I really want to see her go. She does not have the talent to make it to the end.

Sebastian is pretty good but he's not my favorite.

Tatu Baby has produced some great pieces and some have been way out of her element and she nailed them.

Steve has the most talent. Hands down. He should win this competition.

I watched the first episode and realized that this competition is just to see who is the best of the worst. like, which is the prettiest turd? seriously, none of these people are any good, at all. that goes for most of these people on reality tv tattoos shows, with the exception being when nikko hurtado was on l.a. ink a few times. want talent? can't get any better than that. I've been watching. I liked Jaime but now he's gone. Liked Jesse too but... oh well. Gotta go with Steve.

 

I disagree, liddy. Some of the tats have been amazing. Of course, some have been total disasters, too. Man, I would NEVER sign up as a canvas for that show! :facepalm:

for me, one of the "best tattoo artists in the world" doesn't need to go on this show.they know they're good, so why go on tv to prove it?

 

a local guy named Aaron Ruby did my husband's tattoo. he blows these clowns out of the water.

I never cared much for Sarah but she is the crazy artist and those people are some of the more "colorful" to experience.

the shocker was Sebastian not only making it that far, but doing a HIDEOUS tat on that poor virgin (non tatted) lady. Thoughtless and self absorbed.

 

Steve won (glad for that), and Sarah re did herself for the finale didn't she.... hubba hubba! ;)
