Where would you rate Vinnie Vincent compared to Ace, Mark & Bruce ? 🤔

I really liked Vinnie Vincent Invasion S/T debut album when it was first released back in ‘86 … totally over the top 🎸🎸🎸

riffola & mega fast ( at the time ) solos !

I like him better than Bruce and Mark but I think he was something of a, well not a one trick pony but he had a few things he did well but he didn't do other things well. This is why they brought in Rick Derringer to play the Exciter solo, so that's one example of what I mean.

👍

🤔Which are your Top 5 Kiss

🎸 solos  ?
( you can even list 10 if you already know them off the top of your head )

please name : the track, which album it’s from,  and who was the axe-man 🎸

( I’m only moderately familiar

with Kiss’ catalogue, but wish to delve a bit deeper )

I'm not sure actually. The Shock Me Ace Frehley one is good. I'd have to think about it. Bruce Kulick has done quite a few good ones.

Do you have a copy of Vinnie Vincent's Invasion? I have it on cd, I still think it's a good album. Vinnie was a good song writer.

I've got them both on CD. I don't like All Systems Go, I hate the vocalist, absolutely terrible. And Vinnie's playing seems toned down for that album.

Yep I agree that the debut is better for the reasons you stated over the follow up.

I like way more KISS songs than Aerosmith songs, but Toys in the Attic is the best album of the bands' combined discographies.

What was the question again?
