All Things Football - '12-'13

Recommended Posts

Champions League time on Tuesday and Wednesday. Valencia-PSG, Celtic-Juventus, Real-Manchester, Szachtar-Borussia.

Celtic's ride is over, I'm afraid... :sigh:

It appears so, but glad the CL is back

Hoping for an Arsenal upset of Bayern

This is my favorite time of the year for soccer. All the English knockout cups are going on, and there are some huge games in CL and title races.

Man U, Real today :)

Would love to see that one but I gotta go with Borussia-Szachtar. Too bad they can't play at different times, especially when one game will take place in Spain and the other in the Ukraine...

Good result for Borussia at Szachtar. Lewandowski with a "Benny Hill type" goal. Should've had another one in the second half. Ukrainian team basically has to win in Dortmund to advance. Man U also closer to the last eight. :ebert:

I'm psyched for Gunners and Bayern next week :)

Let us hope FSC shows that game live and not Porto vs Malaga. Should be a no-brainer but you never know...

Okay. I've lost my belief.

FIRE WENGER.

It's time.

Szczesny, the guilty party today, I understand. :(

Just in general. He's open about only caring about CL qualifying, but there's an issue when you don't provide the talent to retain a spot in the top 4. Frustrating.

Barcelona looks like South Africa in those jerseys today. :eh:

Pretty one-sided in the first half but Barcelona can't break Milan yet.

Wow, this ref is blind. :gumby: Hand ball and a goal for Milan.

2-0 - No doubt about this one. Barcelona in trouble...

Was watching, such a fantastic sight to see barca go down.

Seems like if Milan gets one goal at the Nou Camp, they'll be through.

I can't believe they got the two at home. Barcelona was in control for most of the game. And that first goal...

Yeah, that was very strange. It looked like his girlfriend was ready to get out of there. Still, it makes for an interesting second leg.
