Radiohead - Kid A.

I thought you already bought that for your girlfriend...or did you like OK Computer so much that you bought a copy for yourself?

Ripped a copy of it, actually, so I don't own the actual CD itself. Doesn't really matter, though, because the only song on it that really does anything for me is "How To Disappear Completely", which I already had.

I'm also ordering In Absentia, also by Porcupine Tree.

That's a great album; it's the best Porcupine Tree I've heard so far...I think you'll enjoy it yes.gif trink38.gif

Oh...I'm changing the order to Deadwing, as it happens. laugh.gif

Both are great so it won't matter too much...

Do you have any single songs from In Absentia? If so which ones? (just curious)

Nope. I've heard that "Trains" and "The Sound of Musak" are particularly good, though.

Trains is one of the best songs I've heard in a while (by any artist).

Got the Cream live one. It's great!

Next I think i'm gonna get the greatest hits albums by Buffalo Springfield and The Byrds. And the new Porcupine Tree and SnA when they come out!

Just got OK Computer by Radiohead..I'm only on the first song but I honestly don't see why this is considered the greatest album ever...It's pretty good though.

Yes, I couldn't agree more, while it is a good album, I think it is often overglorified. Those that like this, need to check out:

Deadwing by Porcupine Tree.

The opening track is much more metal than Stupid Dream...but there's two studio albums that I don't have between them, so I guess their sound evolved a bit. It's not totally over-the-top, though (although spoken word pieces in songs generally aren't my cup of tea [yes, "Roll the Bones" and "Double Agent", I'm looking at you], there are redeeming qualities of the song), but it does lend a different atmosphere to it.
