Kudzu
QUOTE (PuppetKing2112 @ Mar 23 2007, 07:47 AM) QUOTE (Kudzu @ Mar 22 2007, 11:06 PM) Radiohead - Kid A. I thought you already bought that for your girlfriend...or did you like OK Computer so much that you bought a copy for yourself? Ripped a copy of it, actually, so I don't own the actual CD itself. Doesn't really matter, though, because the only song on it that really does anything for me is "How To Disappear Completely", which I already had. Rush!
Went out to Borders today, spent $30 on these two: David Bowie - Low (1977) Arcade Fire - Neon Bible (2007) CD prices are way too high these days. I need to start looking in used stores.

Yes, I couldn't agree more, while it is a good album, I think it is often overglorified. Those that like this, need to check out: Easy Star All-Stars: Radiodread Radiohead a'la Reggae! Kudzu
Deadwing by Porcupine Tree. The opening track is much more metal than Stupid Dream...but there's two studio albums that I don't have between them, so I guess their sound evolved a bit. It's not totally over-the-top, though (although spoken word pieces in songs generally aren't my cup of tea [yes, "Roll the Bones" and "Double Agent", I'm looking at you], there are redeeming qualities of the song), but it does lend a different atmosphere to it.
