RUSHHEAD666
I don't know if this is old news too but for me it's brand new!! I stumbled onto a 1988 album by Brian Greenway called "Serious Business." Brian is the guitar player from April Wine of course. Anyway I found out that Alex performs the guitar solo on the song "In The Danger Zone." Have you heard this song? It's very Eighties cheesy AOR but Alex's solo is absolutely incredible. It's worth a listen if you are a true Rush fan. Alex is a guest musician on many Canadian bands' albums. Platinum Blonde, Gowan and of course Max Webster. Endless discoveries!!! Check out this song by Greenway. The Lifeson solo is short but sweet! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AtdZbqegS_g Edited June 22, 2012 by RUSHHEAD666
RUSHHEAD666
I must add that Aldo Nova is on this album too playing the keyboards! Note: The first two Aldo Nova albums have been remastered by Rock Candy Records! They sound great!!!!

D3strukt
When I read "Danger Zone" I thought you might be talking about Kenny Loggins, and I was like "W-w-w-w-whuut?!?!? No f***ing way. My ears aren't on straight!"

Do you notice the person with the long hair running with a guitar case during the solo? Some say that it's Geddy doing a cameo.

RUSHHEAD666
Alex's solo on "In The Danger Zone" reminds me of his epic solo on "Between The Wheels."

I can't get enough of this AOR GEM! Not sure if you have seen my Wireless "No Static" Thread. It's an album produced by Geddy!! KICK ASS TOO!! Yet another AOR GEM!! GET IT! ROCK CANDY RECORDS!! Well this company also reissued and remastered three Max Webster cds!! Great sound!!!! I just sent an email to Rock Candy and pitched this Greenway album!! I told them that they MUST reissue and remaster "Serious Business!!" Rock Candy is a saving rock and roll!! They are on a serious Canadian roll so I think "Serious Business" would be a perfect fit for the Now!! Edited June 26, 2012 by RUSHHEAD666
