I was a huge fan of S&A, and once I heard the first three singles, I absolutely loved the direction they were heading in. I can understand how people who have been luke-warm to 'modern Rush' could see this 'exceeding' their expectations. CA has a more 'old-school' sound in many songs. But for me, I've personally enjoyed all of their recent albums (minus the piss-poor sound on VT), so I was anticipating liking CA from the start, and sure enough...I do. It offers everything a RUSH fan would want in a new record...it draws from the past and forges into the future. Like all the epic music that came before it, every song is fantastic and gets better every time you listen. There is not a dull moment on this record. RUSH is at the peek of their creative powers and used a producer who got the absolute best out of them!!! RUSH has not seen better days!!!
