RUSHHEAD666 Posted March 20, 2012 Share Posted March 20, 2012 I can't believe it's 2012 and I finally saw "12 Angry Men" on Blu-Ray. The world without Criterion would be empty and lost. This is by far one of the greatest movies I have ever seen in my life. It rivals "Citizen Kane." I'm going to fly to Hollywood this week and pitch a remake. I am sure Clooney, Pitt, Damon, Michael Douglas, Samuel J. Jackson, Jack Nickelson, George Lopez, and five other incredible actors would sign on for this picture. I first saw it years ago in a high school English class, myself. I don't think there was even a single student in the room who wasn't completely blown away by it. Earl, if you didn't know, Nikita Mihalkov MADE a remake some years ago, obviously set in Russia. This is the IMDB entry. I have it, it is still good but nowhere close to the original. One of the top 10 or so movies ever made. It was remade once, as a made for TV movie but I didn't see it. I don't think I would want another remake. Some things should be left alone.
