The Notorious B.S.G. Posted August 22, 2004 Posted August 22, 2004 I wanted to test the ability of a member to post a new topic, but this also seems like a good topic in general. My name in the real world is Scott. My screen name stands for Big Stubborn Guy, which I got from a Dilbert strip. I am big, but not really stubborn, just an example of my self-effacing humor. My occupation is in software development for banks. The nature of my work keeps me interested but is.... shall we say, less than scintillating to anyone else. As a matter of fact, whenever my wifey needs to cure her insomnia, she asks me to describe my work. Ok Ok back to the grind. See yaz later! I might add more later, but for now, must run.
GhostGirl Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 Hi, I'm Michelle, aka GhostGirl....if I could have just one wish, it would be for world peace.... Ooops...went into beauty pageant mode for a second. I'm 32 years old (in spite of having 50 birthday celebrations in the last 2 months) and I have 2 boys, ages 4 and 6. My spouse originally introduced me to Rush, but I've far surpassed him in the FANatic area now... I love Neil. LOTS. That about sums it up.

My name is Evan, or as many know me on the boards, Moonraker. Am a 20 year old Rush fan, though I've only recently in the last few years gotten into them. Bought my first albums (PerW. and MP) about 4 years ago, and since then completed my collection of studios and albums. I've seen em 3 times on the VT tour, twice on the 30 year tour, and at the last show I went to, managed to meet some fellow board members. I am currently at CCSF getting my biotech certificate, and plan on transfering to a 4 year college for a biomajor after I get it. I enjoy playing bass guitar, picked it up because of Cliff Burton and Steve Harris and continued playing because of Geddy. Hmm, currently work at Costco, but am going to start looking around at places like Genentech once I get the cert (hopefully end of next year). Dunno what else to say, beam me up scotty! http://therushforum.ipbhost.com/html/emoticons/spacecraft.gif

Jack Aubrey Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 David (or Dave, I answer to both). 40 yrs. old. Been a Rush fan since 1981. I'm between jobs right now, and am trying to become a professional voice talent. I'm married to a great wife for whom I would do absolutely anything! I was born in Greensboro, NC. and now reside in Charleston, SC. I've lived everywhere from Alaska to Massachussetts. I enjoy reading, movies, golf, cigars, history, politics, drums, and bicycling (though I've had to take it easy with the last two due to a back injury).

I'm there, buddy! AWESOME. I get a 50% discount for property owner so it actually is not a bad deal. Also there is a GREAT course off the Island on Johns Island i believe - has gotten pricey recently tho... My favorite is still Marsh Point, where our cotage is (hole #1) - just a nice course, just enough water, but not too much, sheltered in the island from the wind....
