I was but a grade schooler when Hull was in his heyday; I grew up with the idea that insofar as offensive line play goes, Kent Hull was the gold standard. From what I've seen, read and heard in years since, I've no reason to change that opinion. He was, is, and will always remain a legendary Bills figure. Hull retired from the NFL in 1997, the same year he was selected to the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame. Hull became the 19th inductee to the Wall of Fame at Ralph Wilson Stadium.
