I know this will be a short thread but I had to get your opinions on this.

I think the "neuchacho" rock creature from Futurama could have been inspired by the rock formation on the Test for Echo album art.

That's not the best picture for the creature but if you watch the episode you can see what I'm seeing.

Nice I'm not familiar with galaxy quest. I'm assuming it's a pc game?

It's a parody of Star Trek starring Tim Allen and Sigourney Weaver. It's also awesome.

Either that, or people have been imagining anthropomorphic rock creatures for millennia, and Rush happens to have featured a statue made of rocks on one of their album covers.

Yeah, it was pretty sad. They ended up settling for Gorignak's lame cousin, Morty.

The rock dude from The Neverending Story is the coolest.

They look like big, good, strong hands. Don't they?

The only reason I wondered was because the creators of Futurama seem like they would be the type who would be into Rush, but who knows.

Fry also gets help from his "all-Rush mix tape" to play a real-life version of Space Invaders in "Anthology of Interest II". new_thumbsupsmileyanim.gif
