Dobner has assumed control
I know this will be a short thread but I had to get your opinions on this. I think the "neuchacho" rock creature from Futurama could have been inspired by the rock formation on the Test for Echo album art. Neuchacho: http://pool.theinfosphere.org/images/thumb/3/39/Neutopia_clip.png/320px-Neutopia_clip.png Test for Echo art: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/b/b8/Rush_Test_for_Echo.jpg That's not the best picture for the creature but if you watch the episode you can see what I'm seeing. It's a parody of Star Trek starring Tim Allen and Sigourney Weaver. It's also awesome. QUOTE (Dobner has assumed control @ Jul 4 2011, 11:29 AM)I think the "neuchacho" rock creature from Futurama could have been inspired by the rock formation inukshuk on the Test for Echo album art. Either that, or people have been imagining anthropomorphic rock creatures for millennia, and Rush happens to have featured a statue made of rocks on one of their album covers. /thread Edited July 4, 2011 by StellarJetman
