A poll with bacon as an answer is very difficult for me, since bacon is a good answer to any question. What would the Burt Young 8 ball say.

It would say...

"How bout I break both your arms, so they don't work so good!"

^ it's everything you'd want from a Laphroaig

smoky, peppery, with vapor trails of vanilla that curl and follow

impossibly long finish

like drinking a smouldering bonfire (minus the ash)

also of note: can almost always be had for under $60 USD

incredible bang-for-buck - highly recommended

indeed!

wish it were mine...

there's a bar & grill downtown in a city near to me that looks remarkably close, with a well-stocked Scotch selection (including The Macallan 12, Balvenie 12, Oban 14 and a Macallan 25!)

(speaking of Oban) I recently tried this:

http://www.scotlandstephenson.com/imagesforsql/oban18year.jpg

brilliant stuff, phenomenally put together

a terrific 'roundness' of vanilla without being sweet at all - a richness that never heads toward 'sugary' - echoes of peat smoke and open country air at night

a dream

btw - I'd love a bottle (so PM me if you live in the UK... there's currently no distribution in the US sad.gif )
