Until later...when I got to my analysis of Supper's Ready and CttE...but ugh...p

This is worthy of its own thread.

The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway. I am obsessed with it.

I should've added a poll about which side is your favorite but each side is my favorite so I didn't add it biggrin.gif

I fricking love The Lamia.

I really enjoy Counting Out Time and It, and for some reason I see a lot of dislike for those songs unsure.gif

waiting for the windshield on a freeway.... BAM!

sends shivers down my spine. And the ending of the chamber of 32 doors, where it feels like it's going to end a million times. And the backdrop of the Lamia. And Peter's little wail during Counting Out Time. And the riff of It. And the intro to the title track. The beginning of the badass bass part of In The Cage. The weird noises in The Waiting Room. The haunting piano in Anyway.

Man, I could go on forever.

The Waiting Room still scares the shit out of me when I listen to it in the dark ph34r.gif

I'm not the only one biggrin.gif

I don't get scared with movies or anything like that, but listening to the lamb in general scares the shit out of me...and then the haunting piano melody on Anyway right after feels a lot creepier and surreal.

It's hit or miss with me, but there are songs on there I really like such as the final tune"it." It's a real feel good song.

"It's real. It's rael".

Great tune, especially live.

You must listen to Kevin Gilbert's studio version of Back in NYC. That is incredible.

the last tune makes me more sad than it does happy unsure.gif

I don't know why...it makes me feel good but at the same time very sad...

^ every Lamb-lover's must have

the best quality 'complete' live performance of the album bar none (much of the rest of the box set is pretty brilliant as well)

c'mon, the album is not that good. is interesting at least, but the music is too generic and predictable, and the story doesn't make any sense.

It is haunting and beautiful at parts, and complex in others. And the story does make sense...in a way that doesn't make sense.

This should help you understand wink.gif

Maybe you just don't get it, and that's okay. It's just not for you but that doesn't mean anything. Give it more time. I recommend you listen to it with no interruptions with a good pair of headphones or sit in a dark room and listen to the whole thing with a nice sound system.
