Good, bad, andrush
I should've added a poll about which side is your favorite but each side is my favorite so I didn't add it I fricking love The Lamia. I really enjoy Counting Out Time and It, and for some reason I see a lot of dislike for those songs
Rushman14
QUOTE (Good, bad, andrush @ May 4 2011, 08:55 PM) The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway. I am obsessed with it. As you should be,. It's a frickin masterpiece. If i had to pick I'd probably go with side 1. Fly On A Windshield waiting for the windshield on a freeway.... BAM! Good, bad, andrush
QUOTE (Rushman14 @ May 5 2011, 12:38 PM) QUOTE (Good @ bad, andrush,May 4 2011, 08:55 PM) The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway. I am obsessed with it. As you should be,. It's a frickin masterpiece. If i had to pick I'd probably go with side 1. Fly On A Windshield waiting for the windshield on a freeway.... BAM! sends shivers down my spine. And the ending of the chamber of 32 doors, where it feels like it's going to end a million times. And the backdrop of the Lamia. And Peter's little wail during Counting Out Time. And the riff of It. And the intro to the title track. The beginning of the badass bass part of In The Cage. The weird noises in The Waiting Room. The haunting piano in Anyway. Man, I could go on forever.

The Owl
I really need the box set with the remasters, the quality of my copy of the Lamb is really shitty.

circumstantial tree
It's hit or miss with me, but there are songs on there I really like such as the final tune"it." It's a real feel good song. "It's real. It's rael".
Gompers
QUOTE (ucsteve667 @ May 6 2011, 10:11 AM) The Cage is beyond amazing Great tune, especially live. You must listen to Kevin Gilbert's studio version of Back in NYC. That is incredible.

Akron162
c'mon, the album is not that good. is interesting at least, but the music is too generic and predictable, and the story doesn't make any sense. Edited May 6, 2011 by Akron162

Good, bad, andrush
QUOTE (Akron162 @ May 6 2011, 06:19 PM) c'mon, the album is not that good. is interesting at least, but the music is too generic and predictable, and the story doesn't make any sense. It is haunting and beautiful at parts, and complex in others. And the story does make sense...in a way that doesn't make sense. This should help you understand http://www.bloovis.com/music/lamb.html Maybe you just don't get it, and that's okay. It's just not for you but that doesn't mean anything. Give it more time. I recommend you listen to it with no interruptions with a good pair of headphones or sit in a dark room and listen to the whole thing with a nice sound system.
