RushRevisited
I know Barney listed it, but it deserves repeating because of the ebay thing recently - 867-5309 Jenny (Tommy TuTone) - http://www.prweb.com/releases/2004/2/prweb107776.php New York City, NY (PRWEB) February 28, 2004--An enterprising attorney made nationwide headlines recently when he put his NYC phone number 212-867-5309 on Ebay on February 12th. The famous number from the Tommy Tutones, 1982 No. 1 hit "867-5309/Jenny" is one of the most memorable phone numbers ever. After being mentioned in the news, his ebay auction received over 350,000 visitors, over 170 bids and was bid up to $80,000! The auction was taken down only halfway through after Verizon spokes people claimed, "You can't own or sell phone numbers" so the owner of 212-867-5309 is now considering options for a private sale. ... ... ... ... It rang a bell but I couldn't place it. I LOVE THIS SONG!!! There are so many like that. You go searching, you see a title that sounds familiar (you sure as hell won't recognize the artist!), you play it, and you go "HOLY SHIT! I REMEMBER THAT!" So many really good songs from artists that couldn't come up with more than one. For instance... Atlanta Rhythm Section - So Into You

If you did likewise, you could just copy and paste the titles from Windows Explorer. (EDIT: No, you can't. Just tried it, and it doesn't work unless you do one track at a time while you have it highlighted in rename mode.) "Time Passages" is good, but Al can't be considered a one-hitter, because he had an even bigger hit with "Year Of The Cat."

She actually has a newer album - about a year or two ago. Not as big but pretty good sound. I always hated that song. Found the melody irritating and the lyrics totally uninspiring. I heard her nose ring was fake too.

Once again, I will be an irritating asshat and correct someone. Everybody hate me yet? It was actually done by Napolean XIV. My wife loves that song. Although I could never determine if the guy was singing to the lover who left him or his runaway dog. They're coming to take me away, ho ho, hee hee, ha ha To the Funny Farm where life is beautiful all the time And I'll be happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats And they're coming to take me away, ha ha To the Happy Home with lots of trees and flowers and chirping birds And basket weavers who sit and smile and twiddle their thumbs and toes And they're coming to take me away, ha ha Of course you have to raise the pitch of your voice as you sing it for the most amusing effect.
