GeddyLeeRoth
C'mon, somebody had to start a Dimebag memorial thread! Dec 8, 2004 was the 9/11 of Metal (although it wasn't an inside job, but I digresss). I still feel sickened by his death & lets not forget Nathan Bray, Erin Halk and Jeff 'Mayhem' Thompson who heroically died trying to avert this catastrophe. RIP. Mystic Slipperman
I was horrified when I read about this the next day (Dec 9). Just an awful, stupid, and unnecessary tragedy. RIP Darrell and the others who passed trying to help him.
metaldad
I did one last year and about 10 f-n people responded . He was a great player and a great guy. I was very fortunate to have hung out with him 2 x . Class A guy
The Owl
I didn't really get into Pantara until after Dime was murdered... I was a senior in High School in 04, and I had a friend who was big into Dime... he was pretty shocked.

raptorcox
The only bright spot in a Skid Row concert back in the day was Pantera opening for them. I am so glad I got to see them play live. RIP buddy!
GeddyLeeRoth
I remember that Skid Row tour--'92 if I'm not mistaken. I drove 80 miles round trip to see Pantera open. They were so f**kin' heavy and full of energy. Luckily I saw them headline on the following three tours.
Xanadoood
Metal Legend. They put on some brutal shows back in the day, and Dime really kept the whole 80s Metal Guitar god thing flying during the 90s " Guitar Solos Arent Cool Anymore " period. R.I.P Dime. I drug my future wife to the show. All she wanted to see was Sebastian Bach
