yea but really, what the hell were they thinking when they decided to play 5 friggin' songs in a row from snakes and arrows? two in a row ok, but 5? the show i was at including myself, i've never seen so many asses hit the seats and head for the beer stands. great choice on that one guys.

I recall the VT tour, how the band put "The Pass" and "Bravado" back-to-back. Two slow ballads, neither of which I'm particularly excited about. I was like, "Snoozers!" Then they went into the uptempo "The Big Money," and the show was back on track.

 

Speaking of this tour and taking a break... I saw three shows on the VT tour, including opening night. After the first show, when we learned the setlist, I used "Red Sector A" as my song for trips to the bathroom or merchandise booth.

See, I thought it okay (just okay -- never been a fan of any band forcefeeding the audience new material) for the first leg, but during the 08 tour, I wanted them to break those tunes up.   Faithless was one of the first tunes on S&A that I really loved. It just didn't go over well live at all.   And Presto was the highlight of the show for me -- aside from MP, of course.

I can see your point... Being an atheist, I am drawn to the lyrics and really enjoy the music (with the exception of the 'My Favorite Headache Ben Mink string insertion').

 

I didn't really think Armor and Sword came off well live. Not bad, but it felt clunky each time I saw it live...
