Rush Cocky
QUOTE (MMCXII @ Jan 31 2010, 10:23 AM) finally listened to that soundcheck jam with Billy Sheehan I keep seeing on youtube and wow! pretty cool! does any one know if there`s a story behind it? apparently Ged was running late? what was Billy doing theere? come to watch his hero no doubt Yes, Geddy was running late, but Rush had to do sound check. Tight schedule I guess. Anyway, Mr. Big was opening for Rush on that tour, and they needed a bass player. In the absence of Geddy, Sheehan it is. MMCXII
one thing that kinda stands out for me is the way Neil doesn't get too nuts, he just keeps a beat going and lets the other guys have it... kinda shows how he needs time to write his parts and doesn't like to improvise too much. really works for this jam though!!
