Is it ok for me to admit that I like Hell's Kitchen?

I actually like Friends a lot. I was never into it when it was first run but my wife's a big fan so I got her the 40-disc box set for one Christmas and we've been watching from it ever since.

 

Some of the seasons DO kind of suck, like the first one and maybe 9 or 10, but there's just way too many funny parts for me to keep on continuing to diss the show anymore.

 

Ross is my favorite:

 

"MY SANDWICH? MYYYYY SANDWICH??!!"

"PIVOT!" "PIVOT!!!!"

"Excuse me, I'm still carrying a little holiday weight."

"YOU HAVE TO RESPECT THE SEA!"

(Ross, you don't like ice cream!?) "IT'S TOO COLD!!"

 

Sure, taken out of context these aren't funny at all but in the episode they're killer IMO.

Seriously, I think Aniston made me laugh THREE TIMES on a show that lasted TEN YEARS. That's not a good ratio.

In the beginning, she was the ditzy waitress but after a few seasons, I felt like it was just Jennifer Aniston and Ross -- as if she forgot how that character was constructed to be the flippant girl we first got to know. I know characters evolve but the others always had their thing throughout the seasons:   Chandler: sarcasm Ross: nerdiness Joey: dumbass player boy Phoebe: hippie free spirit Monica: OCD control freak Rachael: ditzy girl turned...normal non-funny? idk!
