nettiesaur
Wienermobile crashes into Racine County home Posted: July 18, 2009 RACINE COUNTY Oscar Mayer Wienermobile crashes into house One homeowner is probably not in love with the Oscar Mayer wiener. The famed hot dog's iconic Wienermobile crashed Friday into the deck and garage of a home in Mount Pleasant when the driver tried to turn the giant hot dog on wheels around in the driveway, police said. The 22-year-old driver thought she was moving in reverse but went forward and crashed into the home, Mount Pleasant Police Chief Tim Zarzecki said. No one was home. The driver and her passenger were uninjured. The home and vehicle sustained moderate damage, Zarzecki said. No citations were immediately issued. Oscar Mayer spokeswoman Sydney Lindner apologized for any inconvenience to the homeowner and said insurance would cover the damage. The company has six Wienermobiles nationwide, she said. - Associated Press JSONLINE
Janie
In other words, the Wienermobile did not pull out in time. (I'm sorry but that is funny. Not the part about the damaged house but the fact that it was the Wienermobile is.)

I would ALMOST be willing to have my house penetrated by the Wienermobile, just to have the story to tell. I thought the same thing! That person has the story of a lifetime. Think of all the opportunities you'd have to tell about the time your house was penetrated (good one, btw) by the Wienermobile? At the grocery store, the ball park, hotdog street vendors and the passers by. You wouldn't get me to shut up if the Wienermobile crashed into my house! Prince Sphinc-Tor
HOLY CRAP!!!!! About 30 minutes ago I was driving home from the store and listening to Sirius/XM's "40's on 4" (40's music) and they do these news breaks of things that happened on this date in history from the 30's and 40's. On this very date in 1936 the very first wienermobile rolled off the production line. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oscar_Mayer_Wienermobile
