Pags
Clearly the best line from last weekend's episode wasn't spoken. It was thought. "La la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la " I laughed my ass off.

Here we've been thinking he's a cool guy, and last episode ends with him sniffing the dead girls sheets and going crazy in her bed. That was just a bit of a freak show, but showed there is more to him then we are seeing. But i'm wondering if his hatred of vamps would lead him to commit murder. They showed a picture of him and the girl behind the bar. It looks as though he may have had secret feelings for her as well as Sooki. Since he has such hatred and prejudice toward the vamps... would he possibly be who choked her to death? He had the key obviously and it was clear that there was no break in. I'm betting that none of the vamps are responsible for this. I was thinking that too. I just couldn't find the connection between him and the other woman killed. It could also be that sick obsession with Sooki that has him taking down the women her brother sleeps with to have Sooki turn to him as if he is saving her from family troubles and vampires all in one shot. Speaking of the brother - Yeah... speaking of Sooki's brother. Seeing that his problem was an abundance of BLOOD... wouldn't it have been far better (and more fun) to just seek out a female vampire willing to "help him out" with that??? Boy did I wince when that scene came on. I bet he needs a very LARGE bag of peas to recuperate with now. I thought that scene was hilarious! Damn idiot shouldnt have drunk the whole thing! Serves him right for getting blisters!

My only pet peeve at this point would be the ACCENTS. Exaggerated Southern accents drive me nuts. I don't sound like that! Right? I noticed that with Bill - The vampire involved with Sooki - that at times he has an accent and at others he doesn't. You'd think that after being alive for centuries, he'd have lost it. In the Buffy and Angel series... Angel lost his thick accent, but Spike never lost his. So I guess it could be up to the discretion of each individual vampire. OR to whoever is writing the script. its probably because the guy who plays bill is from the uk..... so is the guy who plays jason...... well folkies...that was an interesting last episode.... i think it is safe to say that merlotte is some kind of werewolf.....or something......... Alien Girl
QUOTE (GhostGirl @ Sep 30 2008, 07:02 AM) I'm intrigued by the show - although I haven't gotten to watch a whole ep yet. My only pet peeve at this point would be the ACCENTS. Exaggerated Southern accents drive me nuts. I don't sound like that! Right? Well...speaking from experience...the accents aren't exaggerated. My father-in-law and his family are from the town of Springhill, LA...about 35 miles from Shreveport...(roughly) right around where the fictional town of Bonne Temps is supposed to be located. He's got a pretty thick accent...I have no problem understanding him but it's certainly there. I met his uncle once before he died...now that man had an accent so thick it was like he was speaking a foreign language. Southern accents, from my experience, run the range from thick heavy, drawl, twang, lilt and gentile. You, GG, are from the Alabama right (or is it Atlanta..I can't remember)? Completely different 'southern' accent than northern Louisiana. Edited October 27, 2008 by Alien Girl

Necromancer
So Sam is a dog??? I thought he'd be some kind of werewolf, but not a dog. Show's definitely picking up. Too bad it took until only three episodes left. What are your guesses on the killer? Ya' think it might be Lafayette? He's on my short list of possible suspects. jillian815
I enjoy the show, I have it recorded so I won't miss it. I was hoping for some reason that Suki did not have sex with him only because it kept me wondering.. since she had sex with him she has gotten alittle wilder. I guess it's in the blood.. The show is definitely getting busy. I think the bar owner guy killed Suki's grandmother. He is kinda wierd, he was sniffing the one dead girls sheets. Unless he is just a freak. owlswing
Tonight the Season Finale... In the season finale, Sookie finds a link to the string of killings in Bon Temps--and ends up in the murderer's vicious crosshairs. Tara decides to make the most of her second chance with Maryann; Jason finds a new calling after an anti-vampire zealot named Orry visits him in jail; Bill tempts fate during his latest attempt to save Sookie; Sam is perturbed by an encounter with an old acquaintance; Lafayette finds himself at the wrong place at the right time. I may start reading the book series before season 2 starts.
