i know when you said it was for me, you didn't mean it was for me to manipulate and psychedelicize, but i couldn't help it! unsure.gif

Just a small thread jack.

Look how photoshop (and illustrator) should be used.

Hey, forgive me for asking, but usually my stuff gets a lot of people looking at it with no commentary at all, so I just assume that people either don't like it or don't get it. Of course, it's only really important that I like it and I get it, which I do, very much, but it would be nice to get SOME feedback, even if it's that you don't like it or don't get it, too colorful, too busy or whatever.

Peace,

Gary

I really like your images goob. They must've taken a while to create with all the detail in there.

I like to play with the clouds option in photoshop, and then going nuts with the other filters.

I don't really think any of my doodlings are post worthy though.

Keep it up.

Cheers, mate. trink39.gif

I'd love to see some of your stuff if you ever feel it post worthy. yes.gif

I just get curious is all. In the beginning a lot of people commented on my stuff, but the last several pictures have gotten no responses and sometimes I tend to think that means something or other when really I have no idea. My wife admires the work I put into my stuff, and likes some of the simpler images I've done, but it generally isn't her style as she has much more traditional art taste than myself, so I'm curious what others think, positive or negative. I don't take the negative stuff to heart or let it stop me as I think my stuff is great and know it would appeal to at least SOME people, but it's nice to get some feedback for art one way or another from time to time.

Peace all,

Gary

I can appreciate the work and talent that goes into your creations, Gary. I know how hard it is sometimes to get something JUST RIGHT laugh.gif Your style is your own and you embrace it, and while it may not be for everyone, I think you've got a good thing going smile.gif trink39.gif

Hey Goob I know I've kinda disappeared from this site...but your stuff got me playing with photoshop, and I still can't figure out how you do your circles...although I've developed an ability to attempt stuff like this:

But how do you do the circles?

This picture may be a bit much for most people (not like THAT would be anything new wink.gif ), but what the hell, I dig it! yes.gif

Here's the original image I found on the internet:

And here's another.

Grizz sent me this picture of the house my wife and I were at with him on Thanksgiving. This is a more recent gathering:

G O O B E R

I had to stop by when I saw this and see what was going on...

You are a very colorful person with a personality to match cool.gif

I love your work and I'm not just saying that....

The stuff that you do makes me want to work harder

to achieve the finest.

I personally am new to the Photoshop program and I

also have been working with Powerpoint and refuse to

just throw up anything new for my signature.

The signature I have presently is a special place for both

Ken and myself and I love it. But I have been trying to

achieve a new one and when I am done I hope it can make

me smile as your work always does.

I hope to see more of your finest.

P E A C E !

I made this in a RUSH to a lady in distress... She loved it..

http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee252/nezperz/geddangel.jpg

So I had to make a Geddy too, still looking for a good picture of Neil to work on.. I'm not pleased with any of them but others enjoyed them so...
