slambozzio
I know i'll probably get canned for saying this ... but i LOVE the song Countdown .. .always have. It really gives you a great idea of what it would be like to actually attend a shuttle launch. Might be that it was the first Rush album i bought "as it was released" But i just find this song (and album) so captivating ... Losing It/Subdivisions/The Weapon/New World Man ... they are al ltruly great songs !!!!!

TheRocinanteKid
QUOTE (LoneStar Boogie @ Jan 8 2008, 09:08 AM) "The pilot of Enola Gay Flying out of the shockwave On that August Day." Nailed it. Also the second verse of The Camera Eye. "Wide-angle watcher" amazing.
YYZ Working Man
QUOTE "... For the words of the profits were written on the studio wall Concert hall..." Territorial_Game
In Losing It, by the time "The flooding through her memory, The echoes of old applause." I'm usually moved. It reminds me of my last "real" basketball game. I was on varsity in high school, but wasn't good enough to go on to play college ball (at least in a school worth getting an education from, which was really the prime objective). Intramurals just aren't the same as having a whole school hollering for you. In OLV, "a spirit breaking free." Self-explanatory. Mission- Final solo! Ghost Rider- makes me feel for Neil Afterimage- Self-explanatory. Plenty more moving pieces, but those are the first few that came to mind. Echoes
Analog Kid - You move me, you move me. With your buildings and your eyes. Autumn woods and winter skies. You move me, you move me. Open sea and city lights. Busy streets and dizzy heights. You call me, you CALL ME. Different Strings - All there really is, is the two of us. And we both know why we've come along. Nothing to explain, it's a part of us. To be found within a song. Armor and Sword - No one gets to their heaven without a fight. A refuge for the coming night. A future of eternal light. No one gets to their HEAVEN without a fight. All of Hope, from beginning to end, I'm in total "moving" mode. I have more, too many to list. Territorial_Game
Another one that gets me: This particular part of Presto "I had a dream of a winter garden a midnight rendezvous silver, blue, and frozen silence what a fool I was for you I had a dream of the open water I was swimming away out to sea so deep I could never touch bottom what a fool I used to be if I could wave my magic wand I'd set everybody free"

All The World's Indeed A Stage
I would have to say the chorus of Time Stand Still when Ged and Aimee are doing the call-response vocals. Resist is also a very beautiful song. Also, the acoustic beginning of The Trees brings has sentimental meaning to me cause I remember listening to the Chronicles cassette my Dad gave me when I was 10. I remember sitting in my room listening to that intro over and over and over....
