Hey everyone,

I hope you can tune into my show today. I'll be playing some way cool music, including a few requests from TRF members.

Here's one new piece of info. For those who have had problems staying connected when going to www.kskq.org and clicking on Listen Live, try this:

Go to www.kskq.org and then you'll see a little dark gray "FMP Minicaster" player on the top left of the screen. Press the play button. Apparently, a lot of people who had problems the other way are getting in easily through this method.

Please let me know if you have better luck this way if you've had any problems previously.

Peace & Love,

Gary

I probably wont be able to hear tonights show, due to badminton club. And even If i skip, I still have a Social Studies test tomorrow, and need to study.

But, it would be nice to have some cool music in the background for studying smile.gif

I'll definitely tune in next week though, as I usually do.

And, now chat is working, so I can join in on next weeks listening party.

but, i'll see if I can somehow tune in this week.

I have actually heard of the band, i just haven't heard anything by them (that I know of).

My 4 requirements for playing requests:

1. I have to have the song on cd.

2. I need a request at least 2-3 days before the show as I finalize my playist by then.

3. I'll play it if I know you'll be listening! tongue.gif

4. Certain Rush songs (anything from VT and some other assorted tracks) I won't play. unsure.gif

I managed to get Test's request, but Kubla's (and Ceej) I'm gonna wait until next week with - sorry!

Hope you can still listen - if you liked those songs you mentioned Kubla, then you'll LOVE tonight's show!

Peace,

Gary (Goob)

FYI, I thought this thread here was going to be combined into the one with the same title on Music of the Spheres and just the listening party thread remaning on RS. I'm open to that happening if any mod wants to take it on. Not like I mind the publicity, mind you, obviously tongue.gif , but that would be more than cool if that happened...

Peace,

Gary

I am looking forward to your show tonight Goob. This is, sad to say, only the 2nd show so far that I have been/am able to listen to entirely. I don't know when I'll be able to again! It all depends on the workload I get from the blasted school.

I don't have much modern, just a little here and there, and I'll break out a modern tune every once in awhile. wink.gif

Yeah, Moon Safari is EXCELLENT. yes.gif

Ahhhh... I request something from Can's Ege Bamyasi album. But not Vitamin C or Spoon (not that those are bad tracks, just... play a different one >_>).

I've actually been really getting into krautrock lately... and if these Amon Duul II, Novalis and Mythos albums download, I'll be haaaaaaaaappy.
