Keyboards from Chemistry. Really easy but fun to play!

Say, what are the chords for that? I'm terrible at playing keyboard by ear.

Here you go, intro chord progression:

Dsus4 F/C Am G F Em F G F (4x)

Repeat the same thing in the first chorus but play it two times instead of four.

Second chorus + guitar solo (it's a bit different):

Dsus4 F/C Am G F Em F G F Dsus4 F/C G F Dsus4 F/C Am G F Em F G F Dsus4 F/C

Play slower and slower (retard) at the end:

Am G F Em F G F

Enjoy biggrin.gif

Yeah, that's a great song to play.

Some early early Beatles tunes on guitar like "It Won't Be Long", "All I've Got To Do" and some from a little bit later like "It's Only Love", "Things We Said Today", "No Reply" and "I'll Be Back".

They had some really interesting chord progressions considering they were just taken for a pop group. Some of them hurt my brain. Not in terms of complexity, merely in terms of unpredicability considering the melodies that they had going over top of the chords. They really knew what they were doing.

Been listening to alot of GUP recently, so I just re-learned Red Lenses (since knowning it in the 80s)....most probably think it's the worst song on the album, but the chord progression grows on you..

Working on Kid Gloves now....solo is kinda wacky..

What does sus mean? I can't believe I don't know, I've been playing piano for 11 years now.

Also, does anyone know the chords in Red Sector A? I have a good idea, but I don't the exact chords.

Sus means suspended chord. This is the type of chords that you usually must finish with some other chord progression.

Sus4 example - if you have the C chord (C E G), play the perfect fourth instead of major third and you will get the Csus4 (C F G).

Sus2 example - if you have the C chord (C E G), play the major second instead of major third and you will get the Csus2 (C D G).

In Chemisty you have Dsus4, and that means you suspend the D chord (in this case Dm). Play the perfect fourth instead of minor third to get the Dsus4 (D G A).

It's pretty simple, enjoy! biggrin.gif

Led Zeppelin- Black Dog

I learned everything except the solo which I'm still working on. This song destroys my fingers because I have to play it on acoustic because my amp is broken and it's way harder to play on acoustic.

Been honing my Porcupine Tree guitar skills over the past few days; perfected the entirety of Open Car.

And also JUST (as in just put guitar down) learnt the opening 30 seconds of Dream Theater's In the Presence of Enemies - very fun to play. Plan to learn more tomorrow.

the 2nd and third part of the Fly By Night solo, meaning that i only have the fast part at the end to go

Cool. Maybe you could upload a video of you playing it onto YouTube when you're done? Then I can play my version against it and see how many mistakes I made. laugh.gif

I learned The Sphere today because I was getting frustrated with the tune I'm working on - Bacchus Plateau. I'm totally lost during quick scale part of the solo.
