i lost another 3lbs so total so far is 30lbs woohoooo ......

There are a few side affects but No nausea yahoo laugh.gif just will be more tired than what i am now i can live with that smile.gif

That's great news Carol!

Try to stay out of the direct sunlight.

Believe it or not that could actually drop

your white cell count. confused13.gif When mine

was low that is exactly what the doctor

connected it to.When I got out of the sun

the following week my count went up a bit.

Even if it's 18 treatments you will do fine.

You will be more tired and you need to find

a GOOD moisturizing cream to use for the

affected areas of the radiation. You will

get burned so see about getting a prescription

for Silvadine Cream from the doctor also. This

works alot better than alot of the others on the

market because it is prescribed and has some type

of pain reliever in it to soothe the burn. yes.gif The

sleep part of it... schla03.gif YOU WILL SLEEP ALOT!!! schla03.gif

Hope you are feeling better today!!!

After the first few you will be able to see when the "sleepiness" will hit. I scheduled all my appointments around my "nap" times. They usually have you come around the same time anyway. Mine were all first thing in the am so I could sleep when I went home. schla03.gif

You will be alright... I was able to drive as long as it was early in the day when I was wide awake... Afterwards about an hour after the treatment... NO WAY!!! no.gif

Thoughts and prayers are always with you. heart.gif

b_sigh.gif You mean to say 1 hour after each treatment it kicks that hard How long of a rest did you have to take ?

Was that the only side affect you had ?

Dr said that possibly 3 months down the road i will appear to have pneumonia but it won't be ........He said they will end up getting 1 or 2 cm. of my lung & that will cause scar tissue ........& 1 in 1000 get a crack rib & there is nothing they can do for it

I dunno if i am looking forward to this sounds worse than the Chemo wacko.gif
