Both Ladi and myself are deathly afraid of heights, and CeeJ didn't want to go on by herself. I really wish I could have done it, but it's a phobia i just can't overcome. You didn't see the small fit i had when we crossed that bridge by your Dad's house. I was losing it there for a few minutes. It just snuck up on me, and I was locked with fear. I know... Necromancer
http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o278/NecroBolt/Tamequa2.jpg I'm trying to learn more about shooting at night. I took this at the Tamequa Marina. It's a really cool place that SlackA has taken us to a few times. It was really gorgeous at night. http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o278/NecroBolt/Tamequa3.jpg Here's another one. I thought the jet coming at us looked kinda cool. Necromancer
QUOTE (ladirushfan80 @ May 12 2007, 08:51 AM) WOW ! Necro, those pics turned out AWESOME!!!! Thanks. I don't know if they're all THAT good, but i think they came out kinda neat. I need to get a tripod. I want a quick and easy, lightweight one. Then I can set the camera up and put it on timer so that there is absolutely NO shake at all. When you use the night feature, any vibration causes blurriness. I stationed the camera on a solid object and did my best not to move at all when i took these. I can see slight blur, but overall... i'm happy with them. I love reflective shots, so the ones at the Tamequa are pretty cool i think. The ones of the Empire State Building, i used CeeJ to steady my arms. I had my elbows on her shoulders and the camera on her head. A living tripod.

Necromancer
While we were waiting on the LIRR to take us into the city, we saw this guy scoping out the area for his Lady. The pic I got of the female came out blurry. I love Cardinals. Definitely my favorite songbird. Just look how he stands out in that grass. Can't be easy on him though. A hungry hawk can spot one of these guys a mile away. http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o278/NecroBolt/cardinal.jpg
Arndrake
Nice shot. We don't have cardinals over here and it's a shame. Right before Christmas last season, I was on Interstate 5 between Seattle and Portland, heading to my sister's home. The weather was overcast and rainy; average winter day in the Pacific Northwest. Then, when the rain stopped, I happened to see this phenomenon which reminded me of a specific Rush song, and snapped a couple of shots while still driving. http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k38/arndrake/jacobsladder2.jpg http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k38/arndrake/jacobsladder.jpg
