The 80s were great. No other band has made as big of a comeback from the brink of non-existence as Aerosmith. PV and Pump are top 5.

This is technically 100% true. They are definitely numbers 3 and 4 in terms of Aerosmith's 80s output.

I've got Draw the Line over Night in the Ruts.

 

I haven't heard nitr yet.

It's pretty good but a step down from the very best Aerosmith. So is Draw the Line to be fair but I just like more of the songs better on that one.

Fair enough. I'm in favor of the debut over Draw The Line, if only because I prefer Dream On to Kings And Queens.

 

To be real though, Live: Bootleg would beat pretty much any of their studio albums. I could see arguments for Toys, Rocks, and Pump, and that's about it.

Yeah well that's the case for most collections of a band's best songs, if you're going to compare how many good songs they have. That's why it's not a fair comparison.

I never got Draw the Line but I'm diving into its songs today, both album and live.
