Something I just noticed.

Apart from Limelight and Freewill playing similar kinds of roles on their respective albums, I've just discovered another similarity. Geddy uses a very similar melody for the verses of Limelight as the melody he uses on the lines "if you choose not to decide" and "I will choose a path that's clear." Compare these two lines to "living on a lighted stage" and "living in a fisheye lens." The pitches are slightly different, but the contour of the melody is very similar, and the rhythm is quite similar as well! Now of course he takes each one in a different direction, but it's interesting that Ged used the same piece of melody (which is very catchy) for two songs so close to each other in their discography. I wonder if there are any more examples of this... Edited by Entre_Perpetuo
