I know it's odd to hear from a fan of Rush, Zep, Dylan, GNR, and Wolfmother, but Anderson's voice is a real problem for me. I tried to get into YES a couple years ago and got 4 albums. I really liked a few songs from each, but it was usually despite Anderson. I'd never head Awaken before, but when it started I thought that it was going to be awesome. But the voice on this is particularly bad and, what's worse, I couldn't understand a damn thing he was saying. And the middle section of the song just absolutely destroyed it for me. If they could take out the triangle solo (or whatever that garbage was) and unprocess Anderson's voice so I could understand it, I think I'd really dig the song.
