Too bad Cosytoes isn't still around here..

 

I buy grey work socks by the pack always the same colour so I never have to pair them up.. just grab two and go!

Never buy them....I always seem to get some on Christmas and Birthdays and they do me the whole year round.

 

And before you chime in Ducky, no I don't knit them from my "personal" flock of sheep.

I was going to say llamas I was thinking you like something exotic...

Im not sure I've ever bought socks - they just seem to accumulate from various birthdays and Christmases. Finding pairs is becoming quite difficult, but personally, so long as the base colour is the same, I don't worry about it too much.

It amuses me that the phrase "bijuaru shokku kei" is mostly English but no English-speaking person would know what the f**k it means if they didn't know that musical style. :LOL: It's become so twisted that Japanese think it's Japanese and English speakers would think it's Japanese. This happens a lot out here with many different English words. (Don't get all hot and horny Lucas. I'm only talking about the English behind "bijuaru shokku"). :hail:

 

It's also amusing to me that although it's a musical style/genre, the phrase itself has nothing to do with music. :LOL:

I guess you could say the same thing about the word "glam" and how that word was used in music.

 

Where was I? Oh yeah, I like socks and I wear them every day. :blaze:

Naa they only have the one pack of socks. They have DC ones but it's just some crappy Batman socks. The MARVEL socks will be mine!

The "glam" thing is right on .. It's not a musical definition, but in a way, it gives the listener a bit of where the band is coming from - a little something more to relate to ..

 

Sort of like seeing a guy wearing super hero socks - in a way, it makes the wearer more approachable and likable

Wednesday is smack dab in the middle. You've taken two days of beating already so you might hit the Tony Stark Iron Man alcohol bottle. Might as well wear the socks too.

 

Thursday isn't so bad because you can taste the weekend. It's still not easy though. You try to strategize your way through the day. Physically force yourself when necessary. That's Cap.

 

Friday you're ready to fly and scale buildings. Happy go lucky and sarcastic Friday a la Spidey.
