cygnify Posted March 24, 2017 Share Posted March 24, 2017 can't believe nobody mentioned "How It Is" - first time I heard that it totally reminded me of REM (I guess that fits "pop" in some circles). Something about the guitar and vocals in the chorus. Could see Michael Stipe singing it. Full disclosure, I really disliked this song at first, but thought it sounded much much better on the VT remaster (brought out more highs in the guitar.)
