83 Very Good
  1. I was fortunate enough to be able to see eight shows. I like viewing from different perspectives. I saw the show from both sides, dead on across from stage lower level, back row of upper level as well as the front row. I'd get bored if I saw it from the same angle every time..
  2. I know that at least for now the whole scoping thing is via a smartphone app but I thought it'd be neat if I could somehow live stream the video feed from my camcorder/camera.... so you guys could see everything I'm framing as it happens. That would be really cool.
  3. I wanted to upload the full NY to YouTube but I've now lost my ability to post clips longer than 15 minutes due to a copyright strike. :-( Tapehead, as always, you rock! Just saw you posted New York on Dime--any chance of a youtube version soon (not to wear out your incredible generosity).
  4. Audio is from my friend Greg. There was too much talking on my recording.
  5. In my opinion Philly is the best of the three I've done (the other two being St Paul and MSG). Philly: steadier, higher def, smoother zooms, head on shot so better view of projections, lasers etc, no obstructions St Paul/MSG: closer but shot from side (St Paul Alex's side, MSG Geddy's side), occasional heads/arms, some camera artifact St Paul is also on my YT channel complete. Unfortunately I've since lost my ability to upload clips longer than 15 minutes so I won't be able to post MSG complete.
  6. DVD and Blu-ray up on Dime. Entire show here (adjust settings and you can watch in high def): Next release will be MSG.
  7. (Losing It) (Hemispheres Prelude)
  8. It's a screen shot. I cheated and let their guys do all the work. ;-) (Audio is mine though.)
  9. Right now, Sunday 2:10am EST, still uploading to YouTube. I'm going to bed having faith that the upload and processing will go smoothly and that it will be there in the morning. http://youtu.be/XNne9oAx9Fc
  10. I'm watching this StubHub Report closely. Looking for a last minute deal. Also someone reported on another thread that seats were released for Boston around 3pm so I'll be checking TM Saturday afternoon too.
  11. For those of you not on Dime I just posted the entire show to YouTube:
  12. St Paul sounds better than Lincoln which due to my location (further away picking up all the room resonances) sounded boomy. I should've run a high pass filter on Lincoln before releasing. Oh well you can always turn the bass down on your playback system. I haven't yet done an A/B comparison of Tulsa and St. Paul yet. They were both recorded from a similar location (side section closest to stage on Alex's side) so I imagine they'd sound pretty much the same.
  13. Haha you haven't even listened to it yet! Such blind trust. ;) :)
  14. Yup, bought my 12th row lower level seat on StubHub for $59 yesterday. Works for me.
