This is too funny! I have taken a step back to look at the forum and it is hilarious what die hard fans we all are! First someone found the walmart clips, now we have clips from some random Italian website! Too funny! And six pages of comments on 30 second clips! Hahaha! That being said, I am a huge Rush fan, admitedly not as big as some, but this whole waiting for the album this is humourus when you take a step back and see how crazy we all really are lol.

Darn it! I'm at work and don't have sound on my computer!! This site is awesome- we are all waiting for the new album & posting nonsense polls about what we are going to eat etc. when the new album comes out, now we have 30 second clips and 18 pages (thus far) of people going nuts over the new songs! Gotta love it!!

I don't really enjoy the show unless I am close to the stage. Some people don't mind if they are 150 feet away, but that bugs the crap out of me. This upcoming tour I spent the extra $ and I am 5th row on Geddy's side. For $170 I think it's pricey, but worth it.

Man, I'm pretty surprised Alex would do an interview of all things high times. They are such a secret band and drug use is kept very under the radar it's weird he would do this article. That being said I think it's cool & like the fact he is open about smoking some ganja!

Nicely done! I too have a great seat for that venue- I got fifth row, section 7 which is right next to Geddy. This tour I will likely only go to one show, so I splurged and got me a real nice seat. It's real nice like.

Apparently Rush has put out a new single, but I haven't been able to find it on itunes Has anyone heard the single yet, or has it been released or leaked other than itunes?

I know, you may think of some of their more poppy radio hits and dismiss them, in fact I almost didn't go to see them thinking they would be washed up and just go through the motions. Well that was a couple years ago and tonight they are back in town. I was really surprised how great of a show they put on, they have a lot of difficult songs that really rock that are not played on the radio. The band also has great stage presence, especially the lead singer who is constantly spinning around & doing rounhouse kicks over his head All in all a great show & I am very much looking forward to it!

Yeah, I don't think anyone on this forum would be high listening to TBM lol. Great song though, very active drum part. Someone mentioned middletown dreams as great, I have also been playing drums lately for grand designs another good one.

The other night I was watching a Led Zepplin concert on TV from 1973 (it was a movie called 'the song remains the same' I think) & at one point Jimmy Paige was playing the guitar with a violin bow & it was pretty much exactly what is played during the middle of 'By-Tor'. Any idea if Rush used this from them? I also noticed a lot of similarities between Neil & John's drumming.

I'm actually going to see another Rush tribute band on October 1st (rushbylimelight.com). These cats are phenominal & play some really difficult songs like 2112, by-tor etc. They are playing in Danbury, CT if anyone is interested.
