  1. QUOTE (Rushchick10 @ Jul 27 2010, 02:55 PM) QUOTE (Cowtothesky @ Jul 27 2010, 04:40 PM) I love unique people. Don't conform. Be who you are. This is what makes you an amazing person. And, believe me, there will come a day when you come across your old friends from high school, and they will look at you an not believe the incredibly gorgeous, successful person that you have become, while they settled for the ordinary and are unhappy. Like what you want and don't let others dictate to you how to be happy. Worked for a certain Canadian band I can think of... Nickelback, right?
  2. I somehow managed to forget how much TSOR kicks ass. It came on shuffle this morning and I rediscovered the brilliance
  3. QUOTE (mong82191 @ Jul 17 2010, 08:23 PM) Knowing that i'm under 2 days away from seeing THE GREATEST BAND OF ALL TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Jonas Brothers are coming!?!?!?!?!?!?! WHERE!?
  4. The only objection I have to The Incident is that I think Time Flies is a bit too long, other than that the album is stellar
  5. QUOTE (losingit2k @ Jul 14 2010, 02:14 PM) QUOTE My hunch would be that this doesn't mean we're going to get any 10-20 minute epic songs per se, but I think the album, Clockwork Angels, might be a concept album of sorts...an extended story...but who knows What are you saying something along the lines of "Six degress of Inner Turbulance" by Dream Theater, "A pleasant Shage of Grey" by Fatewarning or "Grace Under Pressure" by The boys? How about The Incident by Porcupine Tree?
  6. Ignorant pricks harassing friends of mine. :/
  7. QUOTE (Zanadoo @ Jul 10 2010, 05:51 PM) I'm a new PT fan. I just bought In Absentia today and I'm really liking it. What do you guys reccomend? Personally I started with The Incident, but I hear that it isn't the most accessible.. I'll agree with Fear Of A Blank Planet and In Absentia though Deadwing is great too!
  8. QUOTE (Lerxt1fan @ Jul 11 2010, 12:10 AM) I took my 19 year old [then] daughter to Snakes and Arrows in 1997 and I'm taking my 19 year old [now] son to the Time Machine concert in august. I'm 47, and I've been listening to Rush since 1977. You sir (or ma'am) appear to be magic. It takes great dedication and commitment to see a tour that won't happen for another decade. You have my deepest respect.

What are you, 12? No Im 13 and If you buy a ticket and want to leave your seat anytime you want you can.Nobody can tell you otherwise. Sorry little Hitler Thanks for proving Godwin's law. (Nothing personal BTW, just had to point it out.) Oh, come on. The kid is 13 years old. I'm sure comparing others to an infamous Fascist dictator who killed millions upon millions of people is funny to them. The "kid" appears to be in their 40s..
  19. trenken, you're not to be trusted.. you're from Jersey... Have you seen the people who have come from Jersey..?
  20. QUOTE (cygnus_thegodofbalance @ Jun 14 2010, 07:47 PM) QUOTE (Zanadoo @ Jun 14 2010, 09:24 PM) QUOTE (GrandDesigner @ Jun 14 2010, 09:07 PM) QUOTE (quickfree @ Jun 14 2010, 06:18 PM) Wonder if they'll actually play it. It is a very relevant song and ties in well with the overall theme. I highly doubt it... Geddy's thoughts... i lol'd Why? Because he's right? The first three albums are truly terrible. The only good thing to come out of them are: Working Man By-Tor Fly by Night (maybe) Bastille Day Working Man is their worst song to date.. I still love it.. but it is definitely the one I'd least like to hear
