  1. Then, they're not really reliable sources... are they? Heheheh, I answered the question. Believe it or not, it doesn't really matter to me. :D You've been wrong before as well. Have I??

  3. My source (NOT a tour book) says there are 3 set lists. IDK about the frequency of rotation/s.
  4. I was wondering the same thing - if Ray Danniels is at every show, or does he just go to certain ones. Also, this is a stupid question, but what is the reason he would be at every show? I don't go to every show so, I don't know if he does, but I seriously doubt it. Why would he? Donovan is their "pool boy" on the road. When you say Donovan, I think Hurdy Gurdy Man Donovan. :) Donovan Lundstrom. Dude has a great gig, and a number of choice nicknames, but he works his ass off.

  6. Ahhh yes, there are 3. Did I forget to mention that earlier??
  7. IDK about Neil, but 15 minutes ago Geddy & Alex boarded their jet and went wheels up, off to... somewhere.
  8. Huh? I'm sorry, what?? I'm having trouble... I can't quite... awe, you're gonna have to speak up. All I'm hearing is clicking noises! :D
  9. Heheheh, you're a smart Girl! The last thing the guys want/need is more input on their setlists. It's a big enough PITA as it is. The old adage that comes to mind: Too many cooks...
  10. Rush doesn't use much, if anything, from Tait, mainly because of the expense. Tait certainly isn't involved in Rush's design & production like they have been for others in the past - Madonna, Metallica, Bon Jovi, etc. Unlike Rush, these bands/acts have huge budgets and can afford the over-the-top "staging" that is Tait's forte'.
  11. In the past, there was always this little pre-tour "dance" between Howard & Geddy. Howard tells him what he wants and Geddy says, too much. Howard adjusts his "wants" and Geddy says, too much. They've been playing this game forever and both have become very savy at it. However, this is the very first time that Howard's initial requests were given the OK, without asking him to drop anything. He has everything he wants for this show and it's going to be epic.
  12. Heheheh, I'm not implying that there are 2 vastly different setlists... Nope, not 2.
  13. Then you'll love this show. He's doing something waay cool with lasers that has never been done. Thanks for the Head up FOH LIghts! How is the setlist looking? Which one?? :D
  14. DID YOU EVEN READ THE ARTICLE? "Well, we’re not finished as a band. We still talk about recording. Who knows, there may be an opportunity in the future to do not a big tour, but a series of concerts … like a week in Massey Hall or Radio City Music Hall." -Alex Lifeson The door is not closed. It doesn't matter what Alex, Geddy, or anyone else wants/says. It's NOT their decision. Trust me My Friend, Neil is SLAMMING that door shut and throwing away the key!

  16. Most everyone got there on Saturday (4/26). Full rehearsals started Monday (4/28). For the full rehearsals do they play every other day like they do on tour? I'm not sure if you're serious or not, but full rehearsals are every day. For crew, a day may last 20 hours. Obviously, for Geddy, Alex, & Neil, not nearly that long. Or maybe, setlists spoilers...
  17. Most everyone got there on Sunday (4/26). Full rehearsals started Monday (4/27).
  18. No offense, but... good. In an unprecedented move, the band/management has made EVERYONE involved in the tour so far, sign ND agreements (Non Disclosure). In layman's terms, by signing one, you legally agree to: Keep your f***ing mouth shut about everything! Whether his info is accurate or not, this "spoiler source" who signed one of those agreements, chose to thumb his nose at it and rather, share alleged info with someone who admittedly opened at least one account on a forum, to specifically go public with it. Your "source" is a person of little character who has zero respect for the Rush organization. And neither do you, My Friend... neither do you.
  19. Is it possible that in this case, the word "huge" or phrase "of this magnitude", simply means something like, important or spectacular or amazing? These days, very few older bands are playing with all original members, like Rush (IMO, Neil counts as an original member). Hell, I think Scorpions are on their 8th bass player and maybe their 11th drummer. I suppose if a band was able to keep replenishing their supply of musicians, as needed, they could tour indefinitely. But with just one or two original members, aren't they then just essentially, cover bands? So, the fact that Rush is still touring with all original members, and able to perform at the level they do, despite the often merciless technicality of their music, to me, is pretty huge... as in, spectacular and amazing. :D
  20. Heheheh, sorry, I don't know who started "the rumor". Do you??
  21. This far into rehearsals, the main set list has long been decided.
  22. I believe the announcement is due to come out on the second Tuesday of next week.
  23. Haha, well that's basically true! This time has been more hush hush than ever, and definitely by design. What I can say is that the show itself will be incredible, with some never before seen effects, and just a whole bunch of what every LD/Pyro guy dreams of. Add to that the fact that the band sounds as tight and professional as ever, and this will be, IMO, the show of shows. Certainly, a very appropriate way for them to make their exit. Even if you have to beg, borrow, or steal (OK, maybe not steal), don't miss this one! That being said, I'm more than pretty sure that some leaks/photos will be seen before too long... :D
  24. I'm guessing that you also believe in the Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus? It's not that hard so, try and stay with me here: After this US tour, Neil will NEVER tour again... EVER. It's no secret that he has hated touring for years and he couldn't be happier that the finish line is finally within sight. If he wants to travel the world with his daughter, I'm more than pretty sure that he can afford to do it without the band & crew.
  25. Like they might take a six month break first? Nope. It is my understanding that unless NEIL says OK to Europe (and hell freezes over), when they're done in the states, they're done for good.
