  1. She is covered in sparkles! In my mind at least
  2. No. My name is in honour of the epic ridiculousness of Geddy's hair in the Time Stand Still video :) The poster above me learned something today. Not anything particularly useful, but there you are
  3. There's a slight resemblance. Wouldn't call that guy a Neil look-alike, really, but he does look like he could be a member of the Peart family.
  4. I knew it!!!! Neil does mean a lot to me, so I chose him. He looks best in the mid to late 80's!! :Neil: And what would you two do togheter then all alone whitout someone disturbing you? :P We would talk for a while, and then kiss. Duh! :P Ooh kinky! I actually had a dream about this. Was a bit wierd. :P You know what's weird? Someone who is no older than 15 wanting to be in a physical relationship with a man old enough to be her grandfather It's really not that weird. 15-year-old girls get crushes on older men all the time. Especially rock stars! It's happened the other way around, too. Seems it was practically epidemic in the 70's. Now, that is more problematic. Guys, relax... this is a FANTASY thread. In her dream. Neil might be 15 as well... who knows? Stop picking on her all the time, and let her have her dreams... I have been dreaming about Lita Ford once or twice as well, and she is 32 years older then I am. Its just all for fun.... I'm not picking on her. I was defending her. I don't think she should be shamed for her fantasies any more than anyone else with a crush on an unattainable celebrity. My remark about the 70s was meant to be humorous. I should remember that I'm just not very funny!
  5. Poo? Not so much Cakes of any kind? Yaaaassss! I was referring jokingly to your penchant for telling people to eat your poo, no offense meant.
  6. He has a disturbing obsession with poo and cupcakes.

  8. Lorraine, speaking of great Rush songs that are often played live, I know that you like Dreamline. What is your favourite version of that? My husband once went on a kick where he had to listen repeatedly to every official* live recording of Dreamline that we have in an effort to figure out which is his absolute favourite. I never cared about this song much, but it has grown on me greatly thanks to my husband's obsession! He settled on this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXZP34DcK94 *He doesn't like bootlegs. I think I might hear why your husband thinks this is the best one. I hear stuff from Alex's guitar that I never heard before. I'm not sure if that's because it was drowned out before or whether it was something new he added for that tour. Yeah, my husband is an Alex fan, and I'm pretty sure it's the strength of the guitar in it that he especially likes about that version. He wrote a guitar solo for one of his songs that was inspired by the Dreamline solo.
  9. She named a Nirvana album instead of saying anything about the previous poster
  10. :rfl: :rfl: :rfl: (I hope this isn't considered political! :P ;) )

  12. It IS a great song! Those big bright exciting chords at the very beginning never fail to make me smile.
  13. On YouTube, if you hit the "share" button, it gives you an option to "Start at:" like so: Pause the video where you want playback to start and check that box, and it will make the link for you. You can also type in the time you want. Then copy the generated link not from the browser bar, but from the box as shown, post it here, and Bob's your uncle! https://youtu.be/MwIxHcs6wFk?t=3m6s NOTE: The "embed" feature will not work with the custom start feature even if you remove the s from the https, but the link will work, as above. (I'm pretty sure that was the move you were after? ;) :D )
  14. Jacob's Ladder from R40
  15. You can't secretly love anything after you've announced it on a forum!
  16. Can I be a candyfloss maned unicorn? As far as I'm concerned, you already are! ;-)
  17. The Camera Eye in 2010 and 2011
  18. Not even The Garden? It is what it is and whatever :) Eeesh...P-U, that stinks! For shame Neil, for shame. That's a bad line, but this: The future disappears into memory With only a moment between Forever dwells in that moment Hope is what remains to be seen Is one of the very few truly profound things he has ever written.
