Nice Shot! ;-) I still have the feeling of awe from an excellent show. I am very thankfill that they always seem to want to play Gigs in the Tampa Bay area. I remember when me better 1/2 and I went to the Presto show at the old Bayfront center in St. Petersburg (before Amalie areana existed)and Ged made several complements on how loud we were. I have been attending Rush concerts here for as long as I have resided here (27 yrs) and all the crowds were in it 110% +.

Title says it all what a show seemed the boy's were on fire and seemed to be luvin the Tampa vibes. My better 1/2 was so impressed with Ged's voice she asked if I thought he may be lip-synchin cause there was no way he could sound that good at his age. She also made mention of alex's hair do lookin all kinds of quasi Moto which believe it or not is another compliment. I myself am thankfill that I have witnessed another awesome live experience of my all time favorite band. 3 of my favorite Permanent Waves cuts on possibly the last time live (in my neck of the woods) by their design or other. I hope I will have the opportunity in the future Thank goodness I do not have to work tomorrow.. Whew

I can't believe it! I am on pins and needles and bouncing off the walls. I have waited for what seemed an eternity for this day to arrive. I want to start celebrating now but I know I would be passed out by show time. I used to be able to party for a week and take a day to recover, now I party for a day (more like a 1/2 a day) and it takes a week to recover lol. I probably will be getting an early start as getting old ain't for sissies but thank goodness I have Monday off!! I was in Amalie arena last night for an arena football game and I thought how cool would it be to hide out like a stow away and watch the whole set up production and sound check. Then I had a reality check and realized I am 51 not 21 but it is something I damned sure would've done lol. Well I hope all of y'all coming to Tampa enjoy our hospitality, try some of the local food variety, make time to visit one of the many world famous beaches and of course enjoy a great show from the greatest prog rock band of all time impo. Regarding the show I am pulling for the set B but any one we get will be cherished. My only true wish is the sing the "and everyone would gather on the 24th of May" verse of Lakeside Park, it would be so fitting. See y'all in just a few hours now, be safe in your travels.

Rod I don't want to ruin it for you but you will be better of following the live feed from Nawleens. the last two episodes were a big let down impo.

I have been wondering every tour for years if this is the last time I will see them live. I think I may feel some sadness after the show has ended pondering the same thought with more attached to it this time. But for now the ultra excitement of knowing I will witness one more time is forefront of my thoughts. I am also very thankfull for the fact that I have experienced them live every chance I could and the legacy they will leave behind. They are in some respects truely immortal! I also truely believe there will be more Rush music to come and Maybe a very lucky few will still have a chance to witness them again. I will dream that I may be one of them

As long as they do the Tulsa Set list in Tampa I will be thrilled!!! They don't have to change a thing I still am in shock and abuzz and I was not even in Tulsa, umm physically that is :dweez: :dweez: :dweez:

Man I cant't wait! Now I really do hope I hit the lottery so I can go to more shows! I pray last nights selections will be the set that Tampa gets! But I really have a feeling more suprises are laying in wait I don't know why lol

I called that one when I saw the date of the Tampa show. I am more excited now than I was a day ago. My only little gripe is the was not one song from Hold Your Fire or Power Windows but the deep cuts and the whole moving back in time concept BRILLIANT!!!

Yes, I am sure they will and I will be watching for such posts in anticipation. But I hope those who must should take the time and thoroughly enjoy the show.
