  1. They really should do "Vapor Trail" live, and Earthshine really needs to return!
  2. Possibly top 5...from the album. The intro is epic...pure Rush, but a minute or so could be cut from the song overall.
  3. I have over 21 rush tour shirts so it's hard to pick... off the top of my head I'd say my favorite is between my black/white(cream) S&A needlepoint (almost too awesome to risk wearing!), or my Signals Euro tour reissue with the updated graphics. Wish I could track down the Farewell to Kings shirt from backstage club years back...with jester on front, no real background...skull with crown outline on the back. Need that shirt!
  4. Mind blowing. Never could of imagined a moment like that.
  5. These have remained fairly solid in my top 5 for a while (especially 1-3)... 1. Waves 2. Signals 3. Hemispheres 4. MP 5. 2112 ...after this, the hair pulling/splitting begins.
  6. This wallet might be my favorite item out of all the goodies I've bought from rushbackstage. Actually, I wish I would've bought a spare... Sorry for everyone who missed out on 'em.
  7. Obviously much deserved, and I'm stoked also! Some respect from the mainstream is welcome as it can enlighten so many more people to the music of Rush, and their amazing career.
  8. I probably should of included Territories. It's easily my favorite track off of PW. Entre Nous also (if it's widely considered underated?)...it took on a new life with the S&A tour.
  9. QUOTE (Animate @ Sep 14 2012, 03:33 PM) No matter if another bootleg comes out- Finish what you started! I want the whole copy of THIS bootleg, with your cover art on it! I say the same. Your work is/will be enjoyed by many, including me. So we look forward to it.
  10. Working Man. Great in concert...but been there, done that. I dig the mixing up of the set list. Even though it's a bit PW heavy overall for my personal taste.
  11. The title track has a grand, epic essence to it...it's definitely #1, but the Anarchist is lock solid right behind it.
  12. Yeah, I'd say Kentpilot pretty much rules...thanks a hundred times over for sharing! Sounds excellent!
  13. Off the top of my dome... Cut to the Chase Carve away the Stone Chemistry Countdown Dog Years Vapor Trail Good News First Freeze The Enemy Within Prime Mover
  14. Very cool. Thanks for posting. Definitely brings you back to a different time. Love reading old band quotes and interviews. That PW ad is just sweet.
  15. QUOTE (RushIslander @ Aug 12 2012, 09:27 PM) The Anarchist ROCKS!!! Perhaps the best tune from this album! Yeah, that's right! I said "album", LOL!!! They'll forever be "albums" to me...no matter the format. I refuse to give in to any other terms the music industry tries to force feed me...
  16. It's one of my favorite parts of the whole album...it's freakin' perfect. This is Rush we're talking about. An extended intro this good is always welcome to my ears.
  17. For whatever reason...maybe within the context of the new album? Subtle remix? Added intro? I'm now much more into BU2B than when it was an early released track.
  18. Thanks for the heads-up! Bought a copy for myself, and for a friend who's a casual Rush fan.
  19. I'm a fan of the live material off of VT & S&A so this is a great thread. My list is a little light on new CA songs since they are an unknown factor live, but I'm sure that will change once the tour starts... In album order. 1. Earthshine 2. vapor trail 3. Freeze 4. Far Cry 5. Armor & Sword 6. MarNar 7. Good News First 8. BU2B (toss up against Ghost Rider) 9. clockwork angels 10. The Anarchist 11. Seven Cities of Gold 12. Headlong Flight 13. Wish them Well
  20. Caravan - 6/10 BU2B - 8/10 Clockwork Angels - 10/10 The Anarchist - 10/10 Carnies - 7/10 Halo Effect - 5/10 Seven Cities of Gold - 9/10 The Wreckers - 7/10 Headlong Flight - 8/10 BU2B2 - 4/10 Wish them Well - 9/10 The Garden - 9/10
  21. QUOTE (Bangster of Goats @ Jul 24 2012, 09:53 PM) Throw Signals in with "classic" and that's my favorite period. PeW, MP and Signals are pretty much the top tier for me. This.
  22. Such a great song. A standout track from VT. To this day it still gives me goose bumps as the chorus gets stuck in my head.
  23. Oh wow, sweet find! I'd be shocked if my local record store ("Electric Fetus") had something like that...but it's a great place for vinyl and oddball items.
