I think the sound engineer is again mr Brad Madix... 2007 (S & A) was really loud and Time Machine was not so loud (it was better).

I saw three shows this tour (Helsinki, Stockholm and Sheffield) and i was lucky to get good floor tickets. I think this tour was best soundwise if i compare to 2004 and 2007 tours. Overall balance was much better than previous tours. Overall volume was also little lower than S & A tour, which was much louder. Yes, the sound may vary a lot.

I know what you talking about! After seeing many concerts (Rush, Marillion,Peter Gabriel, Toto, Dream Theater, Genesis, Police, Van Halen, Jeff Beck, Saga, U2,Porcupine Tree, B.Adams etc.) You can compare different concerts and in that race: Rush is just okay, but i think they could be much better with different sound engineer. Of course the music style make difference and some bands are much lighter than Rush, but i heard that with Robert Scovill Rush sound was quite amazing. Band could do nothing with sound system and it all depends, how professional the sound crew is and especially the sound engineer. I hope mr. Madix make good sounding concert for upcoming Helsinki and Stockholm gigs, but in 2004 and 2007 they were just okay and many friends of mine were disappointed after concert with sound quality.
