I've always had the dog with me anytime I got near these foul creatures (see what I did there?) so I'm not sure if they are naturally evil or were actually showing some type of duck affection?

Just moved last Monday into my new flat. Today I see the nosy neighbour going through my recycle bin and moving stuff to the garbage bin. Then she pulls an old camera manual I had thrown out and puts it through my mail slot. Coffee grounds and all. WTF? Get out of my bins you old biddy.

Ah, thanks everyone. Especially SullySue for starting this thread. Much appreciated. I've been busy moving into the new flat and only today got internet installed. Plus telly so you know, now I can stay inside the rest of my life ;) Been accessing dodgy wifi up to now so no time to surf the net and all that. Anyhow, got some photos of the village I've moved to. It's gorgeous and only a stone's throw from the last village I was in. That village is now missing it's idiot, but the pay is better here so...... So tonight is the village's bonfire night. It nice too cause it's two houses down from me and it's pissing down rain. No chance of it spreading out of control. The English think of everything. I'll try to get some photos of the fireworks as well. Will get around to putting photos up and stuff. BTW Jimmy Page lives just a little ways away from me. At least I'mpretty sure it's him. He was acting rather shy or perhaps I was being a bit nosy? Nah, I wasn't nosy, only wanted a good look at his mug to verify it was him. Although, it is likely I may get a knock on the door from the coppers or an ASBO.

Little Harrington. Fed him some bird food. Gamekeeper says mince, cat food, bread boiled eggs are all good stuff for him. Penny doesn't go in the one hedge so I will leave him some of that under that hedge. So glad he's around to stay :dweez:

Felt rather fat and ugly in a shop but when I came out some random woman came up and told me how much she liked my blue and pink hair. Made me feel a bit better. Thank you stranger xx

The local gamekeeper told me how lucky I was to have the little fella show up. The gamekeeper is about two decades older than me and says he has never had the privilege of seeing a hedgehog. He says they eat the slugs in the garden and if I put some minced meat out they'll eat that too. Then we started talking about Badgers and how vicious they were......I love how the people are in our village. Very friendly and always have something interesting to say. I don't want to move!
