You mentioned Dr. Evil in your post. Did you realize that Dr. Evil was actually based on an impression of Lorne Michaels, creator of SNL, that Dana Carvey used to do of him. Mike Myers actually just stole the impression for the movie without even consulting Dana Carvey about it.

Did it take you long to memorize them? I spent quite a while but I think I spoke too soon before because I was just trying to think of the lyrics to both of those songs now and it's coming up blank.

I have just recently started memorizing the lyrics to every song in Rush's catalog. So far I have La villa and YYZ totally committed to memory.

If that is true then that is the best news ever. Because 90% of the time the total opposite of what Alex says to the media usually ends up happening.

As long as Geddy and Alex are in it, it’s Rush. Drums are just drums and no one ever got into Rush for the lyrics. If they were to make an album together they could end up agreeing on trying to sound as little like Rush as possible. Maybe a country album?

It definitely shouldn't be in this forum. More of a "I'm bored and want to mess with people because I'm attention starved" kind of thread, wherever that should go. It was just a little spur of the moment satire on some of the Rush fan boys that I have seen over the years brought on by the effects a vape pen. There was absolutely no intention "to mess with people".and I had absolutely no malice intended towards anyone, just take a look at some of the horrible stuff that is said in this forum about Neil in a totally serious manner. I was only kidding around. Obviously you weren't serious and we all like to laugh. So post something funny and we will and in case you cared it was the comments on Geddy's Mom and Neil's daughter that I thought were disgraceful. People don't know if they are writing something funny when they are writing it, that is why stand-up comedians have to test material out on audiences first. I will address the comment on Neil's daughter first which was only poking fun at comments that the Neil haters tend to make about Neil. It was only about a little girl drawing a picture to try to please her father. As for the comment about Geddy's mom, sure, it was distasteful but most of the big comedian's today use distasteful jokes for the majority of their acts. It was only a comment on the ridiculousness at the lengths that some of the fan boys that I have seen would go to. I meant absolutely no disrespect to Geddy's mom. There's no way a comment about Geddy's mom's underwear can be anything but distasteful, and if you needed to be told that then maybe we didn't know you as well as we thought all these years. Didn't think you'd make a post like that and wonder how it would be received on this forum. What it all comes down to is that I was only joking. Bad jokes don't seem to be tolerated here but I see hate mongering and racism just slide all of the time.

If I had a dog that could do that I'd have parties at my house all of the time just to show people that my dog could do that.

Now that you mention it, I vaguely remember that. Then I guess he just drives Carrie nuts. ;) I guess he's too cool for a trike. My neighbor is a vet and he has one. He had been in the Navy and slipped and fell on a ship and really messed up his neck/back area. It's the only motorcycle he can handle. I think Neil ought to get one of those bikes with a side car. Neil might actually start touring again with that thing, He'd shatter his old record for leaving the stage after the show in that thing.

I remember him saying that he stopped riding after he had crashed his bike and it scared the shit out of him and made him realize that it wasn't right to be riding his bike when he had a young child to take care of at home.
