  1. It's bashing them, but it's well deserved bashing. Bashing is not necessarily a bad thing. It is not bashing. It is just a fact.
  2. I was accused of bashing the Catholic church on TRF because I brought up the fact that many priests have molested children and the church was letting it happen and covering the stories up. I just don't get stuff like that? How is that bashing the Catholic church?
  3. They don't (except to him, maybe), but he apparently likes to talk about them and so makes for conversation among those who care to talk about them. With as bad as his religion bashing lyrics are, I can only imagine him trying to shoehorn lines about political beliefs into a song... I bet the non-religious among us have no issue with his "religion bashing". I have never really heard him bash religion. However, he does comment on the absurd and unjust things that some people do in the name of God.
  4. Here are the top 100 albums of 1973. There are a lot of classic albums in there. 7. What are you talking about? He just reached retirement age.
  8. I always thought DT were great musicians but they just couldn't hold a candle to Rush when it came to song writing. IMO, they just are not good song writers.
  9. Shit, I didn't even know he was coming. Now, I will definitely try to get tickets. I have a couple of connections that I might be able to get good seats through.
  10. I am posting this in Random Samples because Paul makes such a random performance in a pub in Liverpool. It would have been mind blowing to be there. The show in the pub starts at around the 16:00 mark but the whole thing is enjoyable to watch, so I recommend watching all of it.
  11. Probably, the thing I like most about Rockbox is that there is no need for any software like iTunes. You just drag and drop your music onto the drive. There are also a ton of different skins/themes that you can download and add to it and there are also a bunch of games you can add to it. Here is a little demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N88fOOZYNAE Here is a tutorial on how to install it:
  12. I don't know if you can do the things you are asking about with this but there is an alternate firmware/OS that you can install on an ipod classic called Rockbox. It gives you many more options and you can even play .flac files on it. https://www.rockbox.org/wiki/IpodClassicPort

You'd better hide, because me and the Duck are coming after you! :P Come on! Fine, go ahead and shoot me, but when we go there it will not be duck hunting season. Are you really willing pay the huge fine that you are going to get for shooting a duck out of season?

  17. Very nice! Sounds like Foolish games mixed with Time Stand Still. Well done!
  18. Little did we know just how wry and uncomfortable Louis c.k.'s humor really was, at the time.

  21. Happy Birthday to a gal whose posts I always enjoy reading!!!
  22. He does not ride a motorcycle anymore. hmmm that might be a viable explanation as to why neilpeart.net updates suddenly vanished one day. Yeah, he actually wrote about an accident he had the last time he rode his bike. He did not get any serious injuries but it scared him enough to see that he might actually kill himself on it if he kept riding.
  23. Hi Babycat, when it was your actual birthday I only saw it about two days later on here. I said to myself "If I am going to give her belated birthday wishes then I want them to be super-belated where she won't even see it coming.". You are a special person and these are super-belated BIRTHDAY WISHES from me. I hope your birthday was great and I hope every day is great for you! These are just for you (If you know what I mean?). :dweez: :dweez: :dweez: :rose: :rose: :rose: :smash: (I like it rough.) :hug2:
  24. Happy Birthday to a guy that I don't want to punch in the face!
