Yeah rush was the nickleback of the 70s As a fanboi i would try to sell the band to no avail. Of course years later they came around as fans He who laughs last..... Rush were not the Nickelback of the 70's. Nickelback are one of the biggest selling rock bands of all time and they are not respected as musicians. Nickelback are one of the most well known bands in the world. In the 70's Rush was not that well known. Rush has never been and will never be as mainstream as Nickelback.

That's what I thought too. If that's the case, Jimmy is very behind the times by not having a streaming service people could pay for to listen to these recordings. Not that he needs the money but he'll be missing out on a lot of it. From what I can gather JP is going to charge you for these recordings by streaming but you won’t be able to keep them,in other words download them.If this is what he is thinking then he is behind the times unless he and Mr Crowley have put a curse on anyone who does download. I like when they're on TV, even when I own the DVD. The idea of a shared experience is cool, and there's always the chance that someone new will see it and become a Rush fan! :heart: As much as I hate to say it . . . and I love the effort and passion that Lee pours into his singing . . . I am starting to find it tough to watch him struggling. R40 is an incredible feat as a show, a fantastic sendoff . . . but I think I'd want any prospective fans watching some of the older classic shows. But a new fan has nothing to compare Geddy's voice to like long time fans. So it would probably sound good to their ears. I find that you get more bang for your buck from Geddy's voice on R40. There are many more syllables than on any of the other live shows.
