  1. You mean the wing-a-ding thing? That and EQG and the FiM shitstorm. People are getting way too emotional about this stuff. Something weird happening to the universe of a children's cartoon show? EVERYBODY PANIC http://www.officialorange.com/blog/images/preview/Meanwhile_in_Syria_preview.jpg

  3. You guys been keeping up with EQD lately?
  4. I think I enjoy every album in large part because of Neil, actually. His drumming is always very energetic, and I can always connect with his lyrics. Plus, even if the arrangements for guitar are simpler, Rush are beyond the point where they must prove their technical abilities. These last couple decades have been a great opportunity for them to show how they can simply craft a great song -- no smoke, no mirrors.
  5. Definitely Steve Hackett. I think it might partly be because his music is a bonding thing for my dad and me. :)

  7. I was wondering why this thread sucked so much, and then I realized, "Oh... Terrapin posted it."
  8. I guess if I had diarrhea long enough, I'd do just about anything to get rid of it. That or I'd stock up on these: [video slightly graphic] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dEwjogp4wIo
  9. Looks like record labels are a thing of the past. http://www.indiegogo.../protestthehero (<<the video on here is hilarious) Perks range anywhere from a digital download of the album for a $10 donation to a guest appearance on the album for $5,000 (and yes, someone has taken one). My personal favorite is a postcard every month for a year from the bass player for $150. Whatever medium you choose for an album purchase, you get your name in the liner notes as a contributor. Their goal was to raise $125,000 over 30 days. It launched about 40 hours ago and they're already at $178,879. I think this is a great idea, and I'm glad that one of my favorite bands is doing it. :)
  10. I failed to qualify for the semi-final round of the National Trumpet Competition. :(

  12. Actually, speaking historically, hipsters began as young middle-class white men who attempted to imitate the lifestyles of black jazz musicians. As you know, jazz musicians are quite snobbish, and don't want to be caught dead doing anything that's actually popular; they need to constantly be on the "cutting edge." So that explains their general attitude. And I think their fashion comes from trying to look kind of poor, buying thrift store clothes and such. And a hippie is of course the evolution of the beatnik. I guess you could say that today's hipsters are more like the original beatniks (and the original hipsters), and hippies branched out from that.
  13. Applejack's always been one of my favorites. You know who's REALLY worthless. Twilight. So worthless. Hey, if you're calling Twilight worthless, you're calling me worthless!

  17. Upload it to a site such as photobucket or imageshack, and then post the url between an [ img ] and a [ / img] (but without the spaces within the brackets) Bah, too much work. Its a shame, because my picture was really cool. Well, now what do we do?
  18. My favorite is Bullets in the Air. Holy moly!!

  21. Hello, everyone! http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/bcuzliekomg/Potato_zps7a3623e7.jpg
  22. The whole album is great from beginning to end. I love Weezer's first four albums (Make Believe and Red are ok), but Pinkerton still towers above all the others.
  23. This is the point where the thread takes a dark turn A derail if you will. http://www.iruntheinternet.com/lulzdump/images/rails-train-off-wherewearegoing-backtothefuture-1338955001l.png
