Mine was sometime in the winter of 1977. I am not sure if it was January, February or December. A friend who had moved away came back to visit and he started talking about this band, "Rush". I had heard Anthem on the radio around that time and was intrigued enough to go out and buy...ATWAS of course!! I was blown away by the album and have never looked back in my love for the music of Rush.

HYF is the only album that has 2 songs i do not like..Tai Shan and High Water. But side 1 is great. T4E has the most songs that arent must listen to. So i guess as a complete album T4E is my least favorite.

Great stuff from this era. Great. 4 stars easily. Every album is solid. From very good to phenomenal.

One of the most over rated bands ever. Critical darlings who made mediocre music that was weird enough to make critics and pretentious music fans fawn.

KISS all the way. They were just as influential as Priest was. Too bad so many people can't get past the makeup and theatrics and focus on their music. The music, by the way is damn good!!

I kind of agree. It was a waste of time in the concert. They could've played something like Turn The Page or Cut To The Chase instead which would've really perked up the first set. Sure, they COULD have played Cut to the Chase, but really, who's bladder is THAT week? Not sure I know what you mean? CTTC is the very definition of a bathroom break song, but would be too early in the concert to be useful. Haha. CTTC is an awesome song. Great lyrics, great riff, fantastic guitar solo. In my top 15 Rush songs.

I think PJ is one of the most over rated bands ever. Darlings of the critics and enemies of the "man" are 2 reasons they were so popular. Their music, i find very dull. Black Crowes do very little for me either, but they rocked harder, so i would choose them.

I would have gone with Fire Woman over Wild Fire. I was going to say Fire Woman, but think Wild Flower shows their rock side more.
