    GUP is a bit of an odd duck for me. In my album rankings (rating the individual songs to get an overall album rating) GUP comes in at 8. If I would rank the albums based on how much I want to listen to any given Rush album, GUP is near the bottom. I think it's because there is no really weak song that I don't like (like Rivendell or Tai Shan, or Sweet Miracle) but not really any song that would be in my top 25 Rush songs. Love the thread!!

    Took my 12 year old daughter and 2 of her friends to see Charlie Puth and Shawn Mendes. Two teen heartthrobs. I enjoyed the show. It is what you think it is. Sugary pop made for teenage girls.

    Cheap Trick - that's one of my all time favorite songs. Such a great riff and Zander's vocals are sensational. The Frampton tune is great too, but not even close for me.

    Overture and Temples are among my all time favorite pieces of music. And both of them performed live are always a highlight of the concert.

    BOC is hit and miss for me. These 4 stand way above the rest Imaginos Tyranny Debut Mirrors The rest of their output contains many songs that I love, but no other albums that I need to own.

    Loved it from the first listen too. Think Driven is an absolutely awesome song and was very disappointed when it wasn't included in the R40 setlist. Like pretty much most of the rest of them too. Best production of anything in their latter career and it ain't even close.Maybe best produced album of theirs ever. Am I the only person in the world that gets that Dog Years was humor, meant to be funny and not taken seriously? Exactly and it's such a killer tune with a great riff!

    Middletown is top 15 rush Grand is top 25. Marathon is awesome I love Mystic Rhythms. This album kicks so much ass.

    I love Masque. Like. A lot. Really underrated. but it's my fav. Mick YES I LOVE THE FIRST SONG! Honestly adore it. Also amazed that the debut doesn't get much love. Really love that! Also 80's Rush is amazing. Definitely not that huge on the seventies. Honestly i can't Stand ged's 70's voice at this point. Kansas had it all over Rush in that Decade as far as i'm concerned. 80's.....whole new ballgame, lol Mick Yeah...agreed... Seventies Ged is a terrible vocalist. Sorry but...yeah. Kills Hemispheres for me. The playing is what keeps hemispherses so up there for me. but yea i don't have anyone can defend 70's ged. you may say it's subjective. it's bad singing. so is dylan and Waits but they wrote for their limitations. 70's rush needed a good singing voice. didn't get it. love him in the 80's though. Mick You're f***ing nuts. 70's Geddy is fantastic.

    I have been listening to Kansas a bit lately. Always thought they were very solid with a lot of solid "non-radio hit" songs.

    RTB is my 2nd least favorite Rush album. My dislike of Heresy knocks it down quite a bit in my ratings. And while i do enjoy "You Bet Your Life" and "Face Up", they also keep RTB from being ranked higher. Dreamline is a monster tune. The Big Wheel is in my Top 15 Rush songs. Digging the thread!!!

I let my past go too fast No time to pause- If I could slow it all down Like some captain, Whose ship runs aground- Seems like Captain Obvious stuff to me. Doesn't pretty much everybody say this to themselves at least 1000 times in their lifetimes? And THAT is what makes the lyrics connect with the listener. One of my all time favorite songs from a lyrical standpoint. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME.
