  1. Olivia from Attack of the Show said her friend has a small part in the movie and she thinks it might be Voltron, which kinda makes sense why they showed that trailer with Transformers.
  2. Awesome movie, I almost cried at the greatness of it. I loved the part where Megatron sort of scolded Starscream...that was straight from the cartoon, as Starscream was always a bastard. Let's get Soundwave (my favorite) and some of the Dinobots (GRIMLOCK!!) in the next one.
  3. I bought these last Tuesday: Against Me! - New Wave Interpol - Our Love to Admire The Against Me! album is slightly disappointing. I still like it, but AM is better when they're stripped back and screaming. Butch Vig produced the new album and it's a little too slick for them. Piss and Vinegar is the jam though. I really like the song with Tegan (from Tegan & Sara) too. The Interpol album pretty much blew me away though. Great stuff. I listened to it on a late night trip to NC and it was perfect night driving music. It may take the top spot on my best of the year list.
  4. http://static.rateyourmusic.com/album_images/98591.jpg I know it looks ridiculous, but it's great. Thanks for turning me on to it, GTA 3.
  5. QUOTE (Part 4 of a Trilogy @ Jun 18 2007, 09:34 PM) is that a twin peaks reference ? on the coffin in the picture frame... is that laura palmer? Yeah, I thought that too. It also looks like David Lynch beside Bob McKenzie. Plus the obvious Blue Velvet reference right in the middle. David Lynch represent!
  6. It's the picture on an invitation to an art show about cult movies that he's hosting: http://www.viewaskew.com/kevin/Cultfront.jpg http://www.viewaskew.com/kevin/cultinfo.jpg Sorry if that stretches the board any.
  7. http://a196.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/41/l_b2642153a5d8efa949fde472d6b282d3.jpg It's Kevin Smith's default picture on Myspace. So awesome. The best part is Chunk from The Goonies on the right side.
  8. I'd also put the Kill Bill movies first, but out of Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction...I don't know. I used to think Pulp Fiction was better, but I've watched RD way more times, so I'll go with that. I've gotta be in a mood for PF.
  9. QUOTE (Part 4 of a Trilogy @ Jun 16 2007, 07:39 AM) i liked one alot, 2 was ok, but 3 was just bad... boo I agree.
  10. I was excited, but I'm not sure how a PG-13 Die Hard would work.
  11. ...when craigslist goes wrong.
  12. QUOTE (lerxt1990 @ Jun 12 2007, 08:08 AM)QUOTE (Storm Shadow @ Jun 12 2007, 06:57 AM) To me the open ending was anything but unconventional. It's so cliche and one of the best shows of all time should've gone out so much better than that. Aside from Phil and Uncle Junior, I thought the whole episode was shit. Anyway, here's Kevin Smith's take on it: Click See here's my problem - name the top three ways YOU would have ended the show, and Ill bet I would think they were worse endings. Im not set in stone though, come up with a good idea, and Ill publicly state yours is better... No point in that, because redtamasrule already said how I feel. Anything but a sudden cut to black. If life goes on as usual, show them eating and fade out. If Tony gets whacked, show some indication of it instead of just clues leading up to it and...nothing. I just didn't see the point of ending it like that other than to get people talking. Obviously you liked the way it ended and that's cool, but what did you think of the episode in general? It just didn't seem very important to me, not for a show of this calibur.

  14. I thought the first one was like a softcore Cinemax porn with some gore thrown in. It wasn't scary or disturbing, and the gore (especially the terrible looking eye scene) wasn't even good. I'll probably watch part 2 if it's on HBO or something, but that's it.
  15. QUOTE (pixey @ Jun 9 2007, 05:29 PM) Pans Labyrinth, I wont give this away since this is a new film but I will say.....the Nose scene! OUCH! Even the mouth scene! The nose scene was so badass, holy shit. Best movie I've seen in a long time.
  16. QUOTE (PuppetKing2112 @ Jun 8 2007, 09:39 PM)White Stripes - Walking with a Ghost EP Oh god, my wife friggin loves Tegan and Sara and I think I heard the song Walking with a Ghost a million times, then the White Stripes covered it and I heard it a million more.
  17. QUOTE (Mustard Death @ Jun 5 2007, 08:14 PM) QUOTE (Lerxst2112 @ Jun 4 2007, 02:28 AM) Can-Future Days I found it in a farking Best Buy of all places. Best Buy actually has a pretty good selection of old, somewhat obscure/hard to find CD's. Usually at some decent prices too. Anyways, I just bought The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me by Brand New... it's their newest, came out last year. It's a fantastic record. Anybody who's already or looking to get into Brand New, BUY IT. That was my favorite album of last year. I had the cover in my signature for a while.
  18. QUOTE (MrMiltonBanana @ Jun 3 2007, 09:49 PM) The best movie of all time is Brazil. 'nuff said. F&L is a masterpiece by Gilliam and is a marvelous film. I agree with everything you said.
  19. QUOTE (Lerxst2112 @ Jun 3 2007, 12:12 PM)QUOTE (Storm Shadow @ Jun 3 2007, 02:14 AM) One of Terry Gilliam's best movies, Depp's best performance, and Benicio Del Toro rules too. Great movie! The Criterion Collection edition is one of the best DVDs I have too. Isn't that the one with the beige/yellow/idon'tknowcolor package with the abstract picture of Dr. Gonzo and Raoul Duke on the front? Yeah, this one: http://www.criterion.com/content/images/full_boxshot/175_box_348x490.jpg http://www.criterion.com/asp/release.asp?id=175

  21. I love everything, even the live album.
  22. The dance scene is one of the funniest things ever. Classic movie!
  23. QUOTE (Jack Aubrey @ May 31 2007, 01:14 PM)The first one was good but the sequels sucked. ^
