  1. Probably a stupid question, but how come some of you already have this even though it says that it won't be released until the 15th of next month: Anesthetize DVD
  2. Why am I not in bed yet?
  3. The Twilight movies make vampires and werewolves look super scary and bad-ass

QUOTE (Drumnut @ May 22 2010, 04:42 AM)I'm listening to Rush Radio now, nothing but all the time! That's freakin' awesome
  6. Seeing them in Toronto on the weekend won't be something that I'll soon forget. If ever. It was easily one of the best concerts I've ever been to More story/review to come when I have more time...
  7. QUOTE (Test4VitalSigns @ May 8 2010, 10:58 AM)Leaving for Toronto in an hour or so to go see The Tree!!! I'll be leaving shorty after lunch
  8. QUOTE (sullysue @ May 7 2010, 07:53 PM)QUOTE (xredsectorx @ May 7 2010, 06:25 PM) I'm really looking forward to seeing them tomorrow night!!! It will be my first Porcupine Tree show From what I've heard, they are amazing live Should be an excellent evening Now, a question about tickets. I chose the TicketFast option and I'm wondering if I have to print my ticket in colour or will black and white be fine?? I don't see why it wouldn't be I have no idea about your ticket. I would imagine that it wouldn't matter. Don't take my word for it, though. Call the venue. As for Porcupine Tree live? You'll be amazed. I've seen a lot of bands that I love live, and that has to in the top three, if not the top of the top three. Intense and perfect. These guys really deliver. It's entrancing to watch how they interpret their music live. Ya, I will call the venue tomorrow. I've used TicketFast before and I believe that I printed my tickets in colour, but this time I printed them at work in black and white. But as nappy2112 said, it should only be the bar code that matters, which will be black and white either way. I'll call just to be sure. Right on, thats good to hear I glanced at some of the set lists from their last few shows. Tomorrow night is looking/sounding more amazing all the time Can't wait!!!!!

  10. QUOTE (Alex @ Apr 24 2010, 01:54 PM)QUOTE (xredsectorx @ Apr 24 2010, 12:24 PM) So I wasn't planning on going to this show, mostly because it's on a Sunday night and taking the following Monday off work isn't really an option, but now after some more consideration, I think I'm going to attend. Ottawa is only a few hours from my house so the commute wouldn't be too bad. Plus, I have the option of staying the night with family in Ottawa after the show, so I may end up doing that and then get up early and head to work from there. Hmmm... decisions decisions. About the time of the show, it says 8 pm at the main page but then when you go to the ticket page it says 12 noon The Bluesfest is a whole event that goes on for weeks. Your ticket is good for the whole day. Before seeing Rush at 8 you can go to bars, see other bands on the side stages etc. Ya, I get the whole Bluesfest layout, I went to it a few years ago to see ZZ Top, it was awesome I was just wondering about the start time for the show. I saw both 8 pm and 12 noon listed. However, 8 makes more sense.

Count me in on this thought! NEVER!!! Ditto + 1 When I go to a Rush concert, I want to see Rush and Rush only. I've paid good money for the ticket and I want to get my money's worth. And with Rush, you always do A very worth while investment
  13. That is freaking sweet However I wish they had of made the announcement sooner. I would have made some different choices about the shows I'm going to this summer. I was wondering why they didn't have an Ottawa date listed. Oh well, I get to see them twice and that's nothing to complain about And there is always next year. I bet they will rock at Blues Fest!!!!
  14. QUOTE (Alex @ Apr 20 2010, 09:40 PM)QUOTE (xredsectorx @ Apr 20 2010, 05:35 PM) QUOTE (Alex @ Apr 20 2010, 03:42 PM)Alright, I think I did Okay. Section 120 row 17. about $155 per ticket, and thats my money. I had a hold of row 14 floor for $350 but my Dad advised me against it. So I think I got some good seats for a better price. And they are touring next year, so I probably will do multiple shows when they have more Canadian dates. I see nothing wrong with not being on the floor so, like I said, I think I did alright. My Dad said he wouldn't pay $350 for a ticket even if God himself was performing miracles on stage LOL. I'm guessing you got your tickets through a presale of some kind?? Yes, but I did not get the $350 ones. I didn't think you did. I considered getting myself one for about oh... 3 seconds
  15. QUOTE (Ted Barchetta @ Apr 20 2010, 09:02 PM)Another great sound is that organy synth at the beginning of Mission The whole song is a great sound
  16. I went with "They were ok or not so great - it would have been better they never existed - they tarnish the Star Wars legacy" I'm a huge Star Wars fan. I've seen the original ones countless times and never grow tired of them. The Empire Strikes Back is my all time favourite! Such an epic film I still remember the first time I saw the Hoth battle. It was the most amazing thing I had ever laid eyes on. The AT-ATs blew my mind Like so many others, I was really excited to see the new movies and like so many others, I was disappointed. Now, I do think that the new ones have some really good battle/action sequences, but overall, I'm not a big fan. They've got nothing on the original 3.
  17. For those who aren't subscribed to the Livenation mailing list, I thought I would share the presale password so you may have a potential chance to score some good seats. Use the password: popstar Good luck!

QUOTE (ghostworks @ Apr 19 2010, 09:27 PM)http://media.musictoday.com/store/bands/93/product_medium/R4CT06.JPG From the MusicToday site: "...artwork is not final yet, but don't miss your chance to take advantage of this exclusive offer!" Not a huge fan, but I will certainly be getting one One of my rules for attending a concert is that you must always get a tour shirt with the dates/locations on the back. It's a must have
  20. I called Ticketmaster today and after trying to deal with the automated system, I eventually got a REAL PERSON I confirmed that the presale, which you need a password for, beings tomorrow and that the regular sale starts on Friday at 10 am for both shows. As we already knew. I also asked about ticket prices for the ACC show, not both sorry , and this is what I was told. The prices are $50, $75, $119 and $139. I believe each one was plus $0.50, but I wasn't really paying attention to the cents . And I'm pretty sure those are the prices before all the frees, charges, and tax. So that's not too bad. I'll probably end up in the $75 section...
