  4. QUOTE (ReRushed @ Oct 25 2011, 10:39 PM) http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/ee138/ReRushed/Shaggs_philosophy_of_the_world.jpg Go ahead, listen to it. I dare you! DUDE YOU KNOW THE SHAGGS!! I'm not alone! My friends and I once played the record for three hours, we wanted to kill each other after that... Shaggs became a way of saying HORRIBLE music... OH foot foot why can't I find you?
  5. QUOTE (Union 5-3992 @ Oct 25 2011, 12:15 AM) And "Imagine" by John Lennon is great Oh Yoko is great! (except for the lyrics...)
  6. QUOTE (ReRushed @ Oct 24 2011, 05:26 PM) John: Plastic Ono Band Imagine Walls & Bridges Paul: Ram Venus & Mars Band on the Run George: All Things Must Pass Living in the Material World 33 1/3 Ringo: Ringo Goodnight Vienna Beaucoups of Blues Overall: Plastic Ono Band All Things Must Pass Imagine Ram Venus & Mars Band on the Run Walls & Bridges Ringo Living in the Material World Goodnight Vienna Beaucoups of Blues 33 1/3 I'll try to do the "Best Album the Beatles Never Recorded Together" someday... Following the pattern of Revolver, but the huge amount of great Harrison songs makes it hard :S
  7. Let's stick to the 70's! For a long time it was John's Plastic Ono Band followed closely by Paul/Wings's Band On The Run... BUT! I really got into All Things Must Pass and this album is brilliant! Unlike most double albums I wouldn't squeeze it into a single album. And for once, Phil Spector isn't too much for me. Gotta listen to some Ringo though... What's yours?!!
  8. Seeing Steven In Paris next week... Can't wait!
  9. QUOTE (ridertoo98 @ Oct 18 2011, 01:27 PM) Still in school?? I thought you were smart enough already! Happy Anni!!!! NEVER ENOUGH Thanks Pags, T4VS and Chicken Hawk (great name BTW).

  11. I know he had this huge influance on Neil, but I never heard him play... RIP Freddy.
  12. ! RIP you will be missed Mikey. Time to give the green album a spin.
  13. Anyone else noticed the similarites between a no-man song called Angel Gets Caught in the Beauty Trap (from the brilliant Flowermouth album), and Steven's own No Part of Me from the new album? Both songs are great though, this is not a complain at all! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89tWvzYtBD0 NoMan http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kc7Q63P2jGQ Steven

  16. QUOTE (GrandDesigner @ Oct 1 2011, 02:24 PM) I don't think there's two guys I'd trust more to create something musically interesting and diverse. Can't wait!
  17. QUOTE (metaldad @ Sep 27 2011, 10:32 PM) I read somewhere there are No Drums on this album, is that true? You must have read "NO PORTNOY" But yeah they said it was pretty dense music... no room for drums. I'm really curious about this one.
  18. QUOTE (Gompers @ Sep 28 2011, 06:33 PM) Quick note....mellotron rules!
